GOOD VIBES. GREAT FILMS. EVEN BETTER WRAPS! 🔥

Big love to the team at @sweaterweatherfilms for bringing the vision to life at their first annual @sweaterweatherfestival this past weekend at Boston City Hall! 🙌🏾

We were proud to collaborate, fuel the creatives, and bring some flavor to the experience.

Here’s to more collaborations, more creativity, and more community!

🎥 Shoutout to @SweaterWeatherFilms — we’re just getting started!

Had the opportunity to spend the day with Everett legends and NFL players Mike Sainristil and Isaiah Likely at the Everett Legends Football Camp. 🏈

Watching them return to a community that played a part in their journey and pour into the next generation is what impact beyond the game looks like.

Legacy is bigger than what you accomplish — it’s what you inspire in those coming behind you.

Looking forward to watching them this season and wishing them both continued success.

New Partnership 🚨 @allstonia

Allstonia is making information access more horizontal across Allston.

The idea came out of the workings of the narrative journalism piece, To Call Allston Home. We, having met so many Allstonians — artists, longtime residents, renters, bikers, families — realize that, despite transience, which so often defines our neighborhood, our neighbors still fight for a community where those who want to stay can stay.

Local journalism and information circulation can make our community stronger. We observe that our neighborhood is diverse and, indeed, information and opinions are often siloed.

Early voting begins on 8/22/2026. Suffolk County has historically low voter turnout. If you have never voted and need to register, I ask that you register to vote before 8/22/2026 and take a friend with you to do the same.

Please join me at the polls on 9/1/2026 Primary Election Day or during early voting which begins on 8/22/2026.

What does it look like to build something that’s rooted in purpose and community?

For the latest episode of Black in Boston, I sat down with @justinmspringer, co-owner of @rhythmnwraps, to talk about the journey from a Boston food truck to one of the city’s go-to destinations for soulful vegan food.

What stood out to me wasn’t just the food—it was the intention. Creating a space where people can gather, connect, and feel at home is just as important as what’s on the menu.

That’s the kind of Black Boston I’m interested in documenting. The people, businesses, and stories that shape our communities every single day.

Watch the full conversation (on my YouTube) and let me know: Have you been to Rhythm ‘n Wraps?
