26.2 #2!!!

“Oh, WHAT. A. FEELING!!”
Yes!! Such a fantastic day. I went into this marathon with such a strong mentality. No one is forcing me to do this. Let me have fun and soak it all in and ENJOY it. Obviously I was in the pain cave and was ready to sit down ASAP but smiling through it helped me get through it.

- And YOU ALL!!
Wow. Duluth showed up- obviously. The volunteers and spectators are terrific and makes the experience top notch. Also I’m not sure how these race photographers managed to make me look cool while running because I didn’t think that was possible. But thank you!! 😂😁👍

- @rafdalacupuncture and @blakechiropractic for keeping me strong and healthy. Much love to you all.

- So grateful for all my family and friends!! Today and every day. The support over training and the victory lap that was race day. I appreciate you all so much it’s beyond words. ❤️

- And the big giant awesome cherry on top…
We raised over $1000 dollars (!!!!) for Save the Boundary Waters!! AH-MAZING!! So proud to run for the second year to support such a great cause. Thank you all for donating and supporting. It all goes to protecting such a special place, and I would proudly run for them again. 🌎🌊🌲🐾 @savethebwca

- I’m a very happy girl. The growth from last year personally feels like the biggest win. I felt strong, and if that wasn’t enough, I had a PR of almost a half freaking hour!? 4:05 this year. (I’m coming for the sub 4 next.) Still riding this high. Running has taught me so much about discipline, perseverance, mindfulness and gratitude… and post race ice cream.🍦

Much love,
M

A little on the late side with this appreciation post for this joyous production of The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong that I directed at @duluthplayhouse but I can't help but reflect on the wonderful cast and crew I had the opportunity to work with. A truly hilarious and collaborative bunch. I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to direct this production with the support of @phillipfazio and @thewesdrummond. Having an AD by my side like @jessicaashleylane is a dream.

I also felt blessed to be able to reconnect with my very dear friend @danprevette who came all the way from LA to bring his warmth to the Duluth winter in a hilarious and memorable turn at the larger than life character of Robert.

It was a fantastic way to spend my holiday break. Thank you to everyone who made this thing go so very wrong in all the right ways!

For how wrong it went, it was a blast to do every single night! As an actor, there’s no better feeling than when 600 people are losing their minds laughing at your bits ❤️. Comedies just bring all kinds of people out the woodworks don’t they 😉. Thank you to our fearless leader @seanryannaughton and to the all the friends made during this outstanding process.

So grateful for the opportunity to direct this show, with these women, at this time. Grateful for the community of artists and friends who came together to achieve this vision.
Grateful for dear ones who encouraged me to step back into the arena, where I belong. Grateful for those who show up, support, and care about the arts and its makers. Grateful always for stories to tell.

So grateful.
