A whirlwind reunion of Pepperdine University Theatre alumni to celebrate three decades of teaching/retirement of our beloved Cathy Thomas-Grant.

Words can’t express how much Cathy means to all of us. To have a mentor who cares so much, who loves so deeply, and who inspires everyone she meets, has been such a gift.

What an honour and privilege to stand on stage with my former classmates and pay tribute to a woman who devoted her life to the theatre and to us. (I think we’re ready to take “Much Ado About Cathy” on the road! 🎭)

If you don’t know Cathy, just watch the first video when she realises I’ve flown in from Ireland to surprise her. Her wholehearted response is the core of who she is with us all.

Thank you Cathy, for everything.

We love you so much. 💙🧡

Mike & Mike having a Multiple Myeloma kiki.
.
@themmrf came to LA and I had the honor of having a conversation with CEO Mike Andreini, about what it will mean to be cured of myeloma, and the MMRF’s critical work leading us there. I love this organization and encourage anyone whose life has been touched by cancer to visit their website as their innovative approach to research and patient advocacy is influencing the entire field of oncology and beyond.

I happened to come across a picture from 42nd street in college, and it led me to wanting to post this video.. is it my most perfect dance/performance moment? Maybe not.. But I loved this number..

And fyi- for musical theatre nerds, this is the original Broadway choreography..

It was a privilege to learn from Jon Engstrom (if you have done 42nd st in La I am shocked if you don’t know him), and he was responsible for advocating for me to be his dance captain and “Any Time Annie” in Virginia the following summer . 💕💜 Thank you Jon 🥰
