Loss has a way of changing you. The truth is, you will never be the same again.

There was a time I truly didn’t think I was going to make it. I was just trying to survive and be the mom my kids needed.

I was ready to spend the rest of my life alone. I pushed love away because I didn’t think my heart could ever handle it again.

Then Nic came into my life.

He never rushed my healing or expected me to “move on.” He showed me it was okay to grieve, stood beside me through some of my hardest days, reminded me how to smile again, and helped me believe that my heart could still hold love without letting go of the love I’d already known.

Today, I’m stronger than I ever thought I could be.

I made it.

Today, I’m not just surviving—I’m living🖤
