In the film, “Midnight Snack,” Nolan had to portray a completely OPPOSITE type of personality from his own, but he did it wonderfully. Henry is reserved, quiet, and mute…..and the reason behind why he is…is open to interpretation. But anyone that knows Nolan, knows that’s not him 🤣 Fun fact…. We almost couldn’t take on this role, but @zeblunz knew Nolan would be perfect for it, so he was at the top of his list for who he wanted to take on this role. So then he was very convincing and we decided to make it happen. But honestly, Zeb’s ability to cast these characters was definitely top-notch expertise so he knows what he’s doing. He couldn’t have picked a better set of actors. @nickbuchanan12 (who came from New York) and @benbowdenwilliams (Austin) were phenomenal in their roles. But I also have to point out that, regardless of their characters being somewhat scary, they are two of the NICEST people you’ll ever meet. Both were so nice and accommodating to the kids and made sure they were okay the whole time. And they were very attentive to answering Nolan’s constant set questions 🤣🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 @monroetalentmgmt @atlantareelkids #industrykids #childactor #trendingshorts♥️♥️♥️ #shortfilms #midnightsnack

No matter what, Nolan is getting closer and closer to achieving his next big goal. 🤞🏻 Plus, he’s being noticed by casting a lot more lately and in my eyes, that’s a huge step! We just hope something good sticks very soon! @monroetalentmgmt @carolshaginawtalent @atlantareelkids #avail #availablenow‼️ #lovewhatyoudo❤️ #industrykids #tvseries

A clip from “Midnight Snack.” Nolan played the lead role of Henry, a mute, shy boy who pretty much went along with anything anyone asked him to do. @official_izaak_with_a_z played the lead role of Ash, the older brother, the leader, who was constantly watching out for his little brother. And @nickbuchanan12 played the lead role of the sleazy kidnapper who was trying to lure the boys into his van. Written and Directed by @zeblunz 🫶🏻 and filmed near Austin, Texas. @monroetalentmgmt

Production did all-night shoots from about dinner time until about 3-5 a.m. so everyone’s sleep schedule had to be switched up for a week, which was interesting, to say the least. A first for us!

Some may think playing mute is easy, but it’s honestly the opposite. Nolan had to rely on all his facial expressions and gestures to make this character come to life, plus this is the epitome of playing a role completely opposite from your own personality. He knocked it out of the park though. 🙌🏻

All the actors did phenomenal. The Director did a fantastic job with booking the roles and couldn’t have picked better actors to portray this story.
