A long, long walk to freedom.

Im exceptionally grateful… beyond words to be living in many answered prayers. I hope this beautifully written article and my own public chronicling of my life from “waiting in vein” to “flexing a life rebuilt” serves as inspiration to somebody who really needs it.

My second tattoo ever is on my spine and says “damned is the man who abandons himself”

The last one I got two years ago says “you cannot heal the pain you refuse to feel”

This is to say there is always work to do.. respect the work and in turn respect yourself .. don’t run away from hard things ..
you and your personal ecosystem are worth being developed to their fullest potential. The world and everything happening in it is simply your arena. This IS your opportunity to create and experience your best self for your best life.

Thank you to everyone who has seen me and my efforts and thought them worthy of development or documentation. To be seen after working so hard in the darkness is an honor 💕

Edit: I chose this song because I saw the performance live in Jamaica by the artist in 2016 and that was a transformative experience- and it feels very fitting- when Kanye came to Jamaica there were no ad or posters, I was in college and it was “maybe this was gonna happen at emancipation park” and I believed .. my friends and I went early and literally just saw him walking around filming on the track and we said hi ! It went on to be the most insane gospel concert I’d ever been to and the first of many unbelievable things to come from pure belief alone and the presence of God In the midst.
