What if your GP prescribed you a choir?

That’s the idea behind social prescribing — connecting people with activities such as singing, art or dance to support their mental and physical wellbeing.

Alison and Lena from Germany are settling into life in Meath and have already joined Just Sing, the Navan community singing group that practises at St Oliver’s.

We could all take a leaf out of their book: put yourself out there, join a group and become part of your community. Sometimes, finding your place begins with simply showing up.

Fancy joining them?

Brilliant musicians, wonderful singers, and absolutely stunning stage outfits 👒

Five sold-out shows speak for themselves — and that’s why we’re bringing it back next year 🫶🏻

When you get the whole #coronationchoir singing #Pompeii by Bastille backstage getting ready for dress rehearsal! Eh oh eh oh eh eh oh eh oh! Gareth Malone on piano with cheerleading from Tori Longdon 🤩😎 This was one of our fave moments of the #CoronationConcert weekend. Just the joy of singing and being with other amazing choirs 😍 We even managed a few decent harmonies in there too 🥴 #hullnhschoir #NHS #nhschoir #hullmassive #garethmalonechoir

Love the documentary and a cheeky glimpse of our choir in action. We’ve particularly enjoyed learning the BSL section of our song Brighter Days with @unifydeafsign and some of our choir have been inspired to start learning some BSL themselves. You can test us when we see you this weekend! Now it’s time to get ready to watch the Coronation tomorrow and you’ll see us next on the big stage on Sunday as we #singfortheking 🇬🇧🤴🏼🇬🇧🤴🏼🇬🇧 #garethmalone #amandaholden #motsimabuse #roseaylingellis #coronationchoir #choir #nhschoir #singfortheking
