We ask our B1 fam about their biggest fears, from claustrophobia and heights to dying alone, not living up to potential, losing family, and even snakes. The responses reveal deep anxieties about regret, comfort zones, and making an impact.

Your business doesn’t belong to you.

Your gifts. Your influence. Your opportunities. Your resources.

They’ve been entrusted to you for a purpose bigger than yourself.

Build boldly. Serve generously. Turn profits into projects. Use what’s in your hands to impact the lives of others.

Don’t just be successful.

Be Mission Minded.

How far away can you feel, just ten minutes from town?

Lion Point feels like its own world above Boulder, surrounded by ancient forest, dramatic rock formations, and sweeping mountain views. A private cinema, emerald pool, copper hot tub, and Passivhaus design make it a place that feels as good as it looks.

I asked Jacob, on a recent build, how does being a Mission Minded Business affect your Business?

Jacob is a Realtor in Denver and has gone headfirst into the Profits into Projects mindset.

All the metrics of his business have changed. It is no longer about how much I make, but now much I can give away.

What if the goal of your business wasn’t just to sell more homes… but to build them?

Most people hear, “I give a portion of my commissions to build homes around the world,” and think it’s a nice thing to do.

That’s not the point.

The point is building a business around impact from the beginning.

Instead of asking:
“How many homes can I sell this year?”

Ask:
“How many homes can I help build because of the business I create?”

That simple shift changes everything.

It gives purpose to the hard days.
Meaning to the wins.
And a mission bigger than yourself.

There’s a reason the most impactful organizations in the world have powerful mission statements. People are willing to work harder, sacrifice more, and stay committed longer when they’re connected to something that matters.

That’s the vision behind the MMB Collective.

Not just successful businesses.

Mission-minded businesses.

Businesses that turn profits into projects and transactions into impact.

At MMB we always talk about finding the one. The one person, the one task, the one thing God wants you to learn at this project or this event. Block out all other vanity metrics and just find the one. If you find ONE person who needs to hear that they are not alone or that they are loved then we did our job.

Jacob Kingston didn’t get into real estate to just sell homes.

He wanted his business to mean something more.

As an agent with Compass and a member of the MMB Collective, Jacob commits a percentage of every commission to helping build homes and fund projects for families around the world.

This sale is a perfect example.

A portion of the commission from this transaction helped fund Jacob’s first service trip to Guatemala, where he joined a team building homes for families in need. What started as helping one family purchase a home in Colorado became an opportunity to help another family move closer to having a home of their own.

What Jacob expected was a chance to serve.

What he found was a completely different perspective.

Meeting families with so little, yet so much joy, changed the way he viewed success, gratitude, and impact. It reminded him that business isn’t just about what we earn—it’s about what we can do for others through it.

For Jacob, this wasn’t just another closing.

It was proof that every transaction can be part of something bigger.

One home sold. One family served. One life-changing experience.

That’s what happens when you put purpose behind profits.

The MMB Collective was created around a simple belief:

Business can be used to change lives.

We’re building a community of agents and entrepreneurs who want their work to be about more than transactions, commissions, and personal success. We want every deal, referral, and client relationship to create impact far beyond the closing table.

Being part of the MMB Collective requires just two commitments:

1. Serve. Be willing to step into the mission firsthand by serving families and helping build homes alongside us around the world.

2. Sacrifice. Commit a percentage of your business to funding homes and creating opportunities for families in need.

That’s it.

Not because we have to.

Because we get to.

Through MMB, we’ve already built 10 homes in 3 countries, and we’re believing this is only the beginning.

We’re not building a real estate group.

We’re building a movement of mission-minded professionals who believe success isn’t measured only by what we earn, but by the lives we impact.

Welcome to the MMB Collective.
