Dream like a kid who hasn’t discovered limits 🌠

I always fell asleep dreaming of the life, the opportunities, and the experiences I’ve always known were meant for me. I never dreamed of walking down the aisle or my wedding dress, I was always steadfast in knowing that I am meant for something bigger than myself and my circumstances.

This wasn’t because I felt like I was entitled to any of this, but because I understood from a young age the power of visualization and how it can take you far beyond what you can even imagine.

I never took no for an answer, I forged my own path, and I was determined in knowing that anything was possible with hard work, dedication, resilience, and the courage to pursuit the unimaginable.

The past few months of my life has been an absolute whirlwind. I am so grateful for everything that has entered my life. I have so much more in dreams to pursue and this is truly only the beginning 🤍

Thank you to Dara, JoHannah, Lance, Dani, Connor, Ninu, Elysia, Shaun, Kamso, and the many talented designers who I have the opportunity to bring with me. Grateful for my whole PHP team, my Team Lana, my coaches/guides, my friends, and my family.

I am where I am because of all of you.

I always knew fashion meant a lot to me growing up. When things were against me, fashion provided a safe space to express myself truly and unapologetically. I’ve been able to grow through my style and my creativity, that has made me feel confident and beautiful 🤍

For my @missuniversecanada journey, I only wore local designers, up to the accessories, bags, etc. 💃🏾 I wanted to highlight the talent and craftsmanship of these designers who are so passionate about their craft 🥺

Thank you to @styled.bydaraa for helping me in creating these looks together. You inspire me to push my style and my comfort zone! Thank you for allowing my creativity to blossom 🌸

When one of us win, we win altogether. This is only the beginning for all of us 💫

Can’t wait to share with you all where I’m going next WEEK 🤭

✅ HUMANITARIAN PROJECT PRESENTATION 🍃

Little Lana would be so proud of how far she has come with her healing 💚 Mental health advocacy will always remain at the forefront of my purpose 💫

Today, I had the privilege of sharing my story my journey with mental health, the advocacy that was born from it, and the countless lives that have inspired me along the way.

This presentation wasn’t just about my experiences. It was about the power of community, resilience, and creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported. 🤍

The TFLAS Talk Series also featured a curated trunk show, bringing together a thoughtful selection of African brands across ready-to-wear, accessories, and beauty.

The evening created space to not only engage in meaningful conversations around creative ownership, but also to experience and celebrate the work of designers and founders shaping contemporary African fashion and beauty.
