📍 *Ramblings of a Sikh Live Podcast | Birmingham*

A fantastic day in Birmingham attending the @ramblingsofasikh Live Podcast on behalf of Hari Singh Nalwa Combat Academy.

Karamjot, Jaskirat, Jagdeep, Hukam Singh, Sukhpal and Jagbir were all in attendance representing @harisinghnalwacombatacademy

It was a great opportunity to listen to insightful discussions surrounding Sikh history and heritage by Eleanor Nesbitt and @jvalaaa alongside Amar Singh.

A special mention to 11 year old Hukam Singh, who was praised for asking some brilliant questions on Sikh history, reflecting on his curiosity and passion for knowledge at such a young age.

We would like to thank all of those who helped to shape this amazing event including @indyanddr , Jvala Singh, Eleanor Nesbitt and Amar Singh. Amar Singh was kind enough to gift Hukam Singh with a small collection of books for free including Rattan Singh Bhangoo’s magnum opus, the Sri Gur Panth Parkash.

In Hukam Singh’s own words “This is the best event I’ve ever been too, it’s better than the Nagar Kirtan”.

We not only strive to develop the bodies and martial skill of our students, but also aim to develop their minds, confidence and careers.

Conversations that bring us closer to our history...

An absolutely extraordinary evening with @ramblingsofasikh , @indyanddr , Dr @jvalaaa and Prof. @eleanor.m.nesbitt — connecting with the people who continue to explore, preserve and share Sikh history.

From the people behind the conversations to the real stories behind the books, a reminder that understanding our heritage is an ongoing journey.
A special shout out to @sikhadelik Itvinder Singh for his phenomenal artwork and for graciously sharing some of his advice, processes, motivations and inspirations with me. So blessed 🙏🏼🙏🏼

They say to never meet your heroes but it was genuinely lovely to meet @ramblingsofasikh , @jvalaaa and @indyanddr after a long time of following their work. I’m humbled to have received their invaluable advice 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I’m extremely grateful to @singhatelier for the invitation and for the opportunity to be part of the conversation 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Till next time!

Comment “HYBRID” and I’ll send you my full training programme PDF 📩

Before triathlon ruined my life 😂🥊 This was my hybrid week: push, pull, legs, two runs, and Sunday sparring at @gcboxing_

Sikhi is hybrid too. Sant sipahi. For the saint side, follow @nanak.naam and @jvalaaa 🙏🏽

And yes @nikerunning are the best.

Something always beats nothing. Start with a walk. Start with Waheguru.
