I am the first in my family to graduate from middle school, high school, and college. I come from bloodline of Vietnamese farmers and sweat shop workers.

It is the greatest privilege to pursue an education.

My mom always reminds me that the strongest piece of armor that you can equip yourself with is your intelligence.

An education is liberating. Beauty, fame, and fortune are quickly fleeting. But your education? The thirst that drives you to be more ever-curious, to read widely, to ask questions that make the person you’re talking to feel understood, to humbly change our minds when we learn better, to walk mindfully and with patience and consideration, and to be more well-spoken?

Your intelligence will never leave you.

It was the honor of my life to learn and sit amongst the Giants at @theohiostateuniversity To be in class with people with opinions so rich that they’d make me lean in, in awe, realizing how much more I have to learn in this life. I have so much more left to learn, to build with my hands, and more skills to master. It is an honor and a privilege to be here :D
