I mean don’t make him the center of your universe. That’s literally it.

Yes I’m getting married, and I still have my own bank account.

My own money.

My own friends, my own plans, my own dreams.

He adds to my life. He doesn’t become it.

Decentering men isn’t about loving men less.

It’s about loving yourself enough that a man’s love is the bonus, not the foundation.

Agree or disagree? Tell me in the comments!

if you have a hard time separating yourself from your relationships, dm me FEMININE and i’ll help you with that

who do you become when he doesn’t text back?

the detective. rereading the conversation, looking for clues.

the strategist. trying to figure out what to say, how long to wait.

the one who puts her plans on hold. just in case he calls.

and suddenly, your entire mood depends on what one person does with their phone.

that’s not you.

that’s what happens when you start outsourcing your sense of safety to someone else’s attention.

you don’t need to care less.

you need to learn how to stay grounded in yourself when you don’t have the answer yet.

💌 If you’re ready to stop losing yourself in relationships, this is the work I do with women 1:1.
DM me BETA if you want to work on this together.

Overthinking will have you analyzing your tone, their tone, what you said, what you SHOULD’VE said, what they probably think of you now… meanwhile they probably haven’t thought about the conversation since it happened. 😭

I think a lot of overthinking comes down to not trusting ourselves.

You don’t trust that you said the right thing. You don’t trust that you made the right decision. You don’t trust your own perception of what happened. So you keep going back to it, hoping that if you think about it long enough, you’ll finally feel certain.

But you cannot think your way into trusting yourself.

At some point, you have to say, “I handled it the best way I could with what I knew at the time,” and LET IT GO.

Self-trust isn’t knowing you’ll always get it right. It’s knowing you’ll be okay even when you don’t. 💌

Tell me the 3am thought that’s been on repeat

overthinking • replaying conversations • anxious
attachment • people pleasing • survival mode • self-abandonment • how to stop overthinking • why do I overthink everything • how to stop people pleasing • self-trust • trust yourself • choosing yourself • feminine energy

And I don’t mean your favorite color or what you like to do for fun. 😒

I mean who are YOU?

Who are you when nobody is validating you? When someone doesn’t like you? When he doesn’t text back? When you stop trying to be easy, agreeable, desirable, or whatever else you learned you needed to be?

We’ve spent years building our identities around how other people perceive us that we’ve never actually stopped to figure out who we are.

That’s self-concept.

And that’s a huge part of what we’ll be working on in my coaching program. Building a sense of self that doesn’t completely fall apart because someone’s attention, opinion, or energy toward you changed.

I’m opening 4 beta spots because I want to actually pour into every woman I work with. 💌

4 one-hour sessions, every other week, at a founding rate.

If you’re ready to figure out who YOU are underneath everybody else’s expectations, DM me “BETA” or click the link in my bio. ✨

Your femininity was never meant to be a copy of someone else’s. It’s something you get to discover for yourself. 💌

And if you want a little help figuring out what that looks like for you, my 1:1 coaching is open. ✨

You guys I’m tired of femininity being treated like it’s another set of rules women have to follow. 😭

You have to dress a certain way, act a certain way, speak a certain way…

Says WHO?!!??!!

Femininity can be soft, loud, dark, weird, sexy, messy, glamorous, strong, nurturing, intimidating, all of it.

I mean, look at Aphrodite. The goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, and desire was also associated with war in some ancient Greek traditions.

Women are so multifaceted. Why would our femininity be any different?

There are as many ways to be feminine as there are women. Figure out what femininity means to YOU.

Like seriously. How different would the world look?

Women have always been told to sit down, shut up, be nice, don’t make people uncomfortable, don’t take up too much space…

Thank GOD some women didn’t listen.

Have opinions. Say what you mean.

You have a voice. So use it.

Adorn yourself!!!! ✨

Wear the jewelry. Add more blush. Get the piercing. Wear four necklaces at the same time.

Be “too much.”

Look at the women before us. The jewelry, the makeup, the hair, the fabrics, the accessories, the COLOR.

Adornment has been part of how women have expressed themselves for generations.

I’m like my grandma, I’ll probably die with my jewelry on. 😭

If you’re ready to express yourself without worrying about being “too much,” my coaching is officially open. Come work with me. 💌

I used to be that girl. Checking my phone constantly, overanalyzing every interaction, letting someone’s attention or lack thereof determine my mood.

And I didn’t realize how much of my energy I was giving away.

Decentering men isn’t about hating men or not wanting love. It’s about taking all that energy you spend wondering if someone wants you, chooses you, or is thinking about you and pouring it back into your own life.

Your friendships. Your goals. Your hobbies. Your experiences. Yourself.

You can love men without making them the center of your life.

Make your life about you again.
