Desperado by J Wakefield Brewing (RIP the location 🥲). A great spicy pastry stout. Lots of vanilla and cinnamon with the right touch of spicy heat. Mouthfeel was spot on. Coats the tongue and the sweet heat lingers beautifully on. Held up so well! Why O Why is JWB no more? Their talents are so missed. #jwakefieldbrewing #flbeer #pastrystout #youaremissed #sametimenextbeer @jwakefieldbeer

🔥🔥🔥 “Snowbirds 8” is an amazing pastry stout, a collab between @otherhalfnyc and @jwakefieldbeer brewed in 2024. I can’t do it justice describing it, so here it is straight from the bottle: “Imperial Stout aged 10 months in rum barrels then 14 months in rye whiskey barrels with wild Thai banana, walnuts, vanilla, and cinnamon.” Coming in at 12.5% abv, it was simply delicious. Cheers. 🔥🔥🔥 @beercanvas @georgerollo #gregvisitsbreweries #pastrystout #otherhalfbrewing #jwakefieldbrewing #beercollab

El Jefe is officially on tap at Cove! It’s a coconut-infused German-style Hefeweizen with notes of fresh coconut, banana, a touch of clove, and a smooth wheated malt backbone. But this is only the beginning. We’re excited to bring even more J. Wakefield beers exclusively to Cove—so come try El Jefe and stay tuned for what’s pouring next.
