How do you say goodbye to a place that has given you so much joy for almost 7 years?

I have had the priviledge of having a career at such an interesting workplace with absolutely no prior experience apart from my interest in costumes.

Started as a random part time job in 2017 and suddenly after almost 7 years later, I've built a career here for myself alongside my small team.

Went through Covid together, rebuilding post Covid together, went through change after change and now I think it is the right time for me to move on.

It is such a bittersweet journey. I can say that I'm leaving on a positive note because I actually love this job so so much. So many ups and downs for suree but I had so much fun some with my colleagues. I grew so much as a person here. I'd say I have had a sheltered experience in terms of career before this. I was in Education and nothing negatively huge ever happen really.

But here, I met so many different types of ppl. I finally understood what office politics/drama is because I met nasty individuals that I wish to never come across again. But I grew resilient from all the lessons I learnt here. I strongly believe that whatever effort you put into your job, you'll reap the blessings in so many forms. I am glad to have stayed resilient because I am blessed with meeting the most kindest souls that I call my work family. Learnt so much amazing things from every single one of them. It is priceless.

As I write this, I reminisce all the amazing achievements we did as a team, all our hardwork, blood, sweat & tears (literally hahaha) and just having so much fun and laughter in the process. Best accidental career that fate decided I should have ❤️

I am always for growth and trying new things because that's just who I am. I guess even at 34, my values as a person, remains constant.

So off I go, heading to my next adventure, wherever life takes me.

To all the people I have met in this magical place, to all the laughters we have shared, to all the memories we have created, I will miss everything, ESPECIALLY OUR LEGENDARY XMAS PARTYYYY 🤣🤣

I have no regrets here, only gratitude. Thank you for being part of my adventure.

With ❤️ always.
