🔥 Olé! ❤️
A little throwback to Dance World Cup Finals, Prague 2024 with this fiery large group showstopper, ‘Olé’. Passion, power and pure Spanish flair filled the stage from the very first beat! 💃🌹

These beautifully beaded costumes deserved styling that was just as striking. We created sleek side-parted buns finished with traditional red Spanish roses for that timeless flamenco-inspired elegance. 🌹✨

For makeup, we gave every dancer a bronzed, sun-kissed glow paired with sultry smoky eyes to captivate the audience from the moment the lights came up. A sweep of soft contour, glowing highlight and our competition staple @NYXCosmetics Soft Matte Lip Cream in Madrid completed the look with the perfect rich wine-red lip. 💄🔥

🪨 Turn to Stone 🪨
Transforming these three gorgeous dancers into living stone statues for the 2020/2021 @danceworldcup in Telford was one of my favourite creative challenges! 🤍

This wasn’t about competition beauty makeup—it was a full character transformation from head to toe. Using @officialsnazaroo face paints in grey, dark grey and silver, I layered and blended the colours with brushes and sponges to create a realistic stone effect. The darker shades were used to contour the face, giving the illusion of carved statues and making every feature stand out under the stage lights.

For the eyes, I blended @bourjois Ombre à Paupières eyeshadows in soft greys and silvers before using my absolute go-to, @nyxcosmetics Epic Ink Liner, to create intricate antique stone cracks across the face and body. Every crack was hand drawn to make each dancer completely unique.

To finish the transformation, we even painted the hair! ✨ And because these dancers were lifting, and working incredibly closely together, durability was essential. A generous mist of @makeuprevolution Fixing Spray locked everything in place, keeping the makeup on the dancers—not on the costumes—even through sweat, lifts and constant contact.

Creating characters like these is exactly why I love stage styling… helping performers completely disappear into their role before they even take their first step on stage. 🎭✨

✨ Throwing it back to 2018… ✨
Our very first 🥇 Gold Medal at @danceworldcup in Barcelona with Dry Earth! 🐍🏜️

This unforgettable piece brought snakes slithering through the desert sands to life, and the makeup had to be just as striking. Using @snazaroo and @kryolanofficial face paints in black, silver and gold, I created the scale effect by layering the colours through a handmade cross-stitch frame with fishnet tights as a stencil. 🎨✨

A bold graphic eye with @nyxcosmetics Epic Ink Liner finished the look, while @nyxcosmetics Setting Spray kept everything locked in place through rehearsals, sweat and performance! 💪🔥

Looking back, this was one of the looks that really pushed me to think outside the box, experiment, and invent techniques and little contraptions that I still use today. 💛

And @stylosdancestudios… you all look SO tiny here! 🥹 Eight years later and look how far you’ve come. What a journey it’s been! ❤️

Back from DWC Finals and what an end to Season 10 it’s been! Just when we thought we couldn’t beat last season, we go above & beyond all expectations 💫

To have had every single dancer in a team of 43 return home with at least 1 medal after competing with over 8,500 dancers is a testament to the hard work we put into the Season year round. To return home with once again winning Most Outstanding Junior Large Group, plus Runner Up Junior Choreography Award out of thousands of groups is mind blowing🩵

Thank you to every teacher & choreographer that has worked with the team and helped take us to victory. Especially @dancingtrace & @miss.lorelei.acro for working alongside us all year.
Thank you to all our VIP guests who have taken of their time to come in and support our team with the most invaluable feedback.
Thank you to our incredible team captains this Season @jyrahendrick & @marianne.hook_ who have gone over & above in helping us manage the biggest team to date.
Thank you to the parents for your constant support and belief in us to provide the best training for each and every dancer on the team. An extra thank you especially to @charles148 & Adrian Wink for the mastery in bringing Memories alive.
But the biggest thank you to our dancers, for always being open to every crazy idea we have and dancing everything we give them so beautifully.

We finish this season tired but so, so inspired, and ready for all the incredible new opportunities already coming ✨🫶🏼
