Vulnerable post 🤍 Week 1 in March ➖Week 29 in September. When I started, I gave myself a goal that felt so far out of reach. I honestly didn’t know if I could do it. Sharing that first photo feels scary, but I’m proud that I took it and decided to start anyway. These past 29 weeks haven’t been perfect, but I’ve kept showing up. I feel stronger, more confident, and closer to the best version of myself than I ever thought I could be. Now I’m getting closer to the goal I set back in March, and I can’t wait to see what these next couple of months bring. ✨ #fitnessmotivation #fitness #fitgoals #progresspicture #fypシ

The morning grind doesn’t lie. It’s YOU vs. YOU every single morning. Get up, get moving, and attack that workout before the excuses have a chance to show up. Put in the work, push past your limits, and earn that first win of the day. Start strong. Train hard. Set the tone. Because when you win the morning, you put yourself in position to win the day. GET UP. GET AFTER IT. GET IT DONE.

12 years offstage. 8 weeks to prep. 45 years young. 🏆 And somehow, I pulled it out. I set the goal before turning 46, booked the show, had the suit made @masterbikinis , started working with @jzilla_444 and stepped back onstage @summershreddingchampionship The result…Masters Champion, Open Class B Champion (against some women half my age), Overall Figure Champion, and 2nd in the Overall Championship the very next day.🏆 And naturally, my first instinct was to diminish it. “Well…you were an IFBB Figure Pro before.” Yes, I was. In 2012. The sport has changed. The women have changed. My body has changed. And I’m not the same woman I was 14 years ago. So let me actually give myself some credit. 😏 Because this wasn’t really about getting back onstage. It was about proving to myself that I could still set a big goal, follow through, and finish what I started. And after everything our family has been through these last few years—especially watching my dad’s health decline—that lesson has hit differently. Life can change in ways you never see coming. It reminded me that “someday” isn’t guaranteed. So chase the goal. Do the thing. Take the shot. 👊🏼 I love the bodybuilding lifestyle, what it teaches me, and being able to show my clients that getting older doesn’t mean you stop chasing big goals. You don’t ever age out of ambition.🔥 Thanks to my coach @jzilla_444, my husband, daughter, and mom for their support, and my family, friends, and clients for cheering me on from home. 🙏🏼 If this show had been in the DFW area, my cheering section would’ve blown them away. 📣 I keep getting asked what’s next…I am not sure. That may be it or I may do it again. I’ve learned to never say never, so for now I go back to the regularly scheduled program. 💪🏼 The grind never stops. #bodybuilding #figurecompetitor #thecomeback #fitnessmotivation

I don’t need bodybuilding to prove I look good. I need it to prove I haven’t forgotten who the hell I am. 🔥 Yeah, bodybuilding is partly about vanity. But my body looked good before this prep. 😁💅🏽 This is about something deeper for me. The last few years have tested me in ways I never expected. Watching my dad’s health decline and dealing with things I couldn’t control changed me. I pulled back. And if I’m being honest, there were areas of my life where I started folding when things got hard. I didn’t like that version of me. 😤 So I decided to do something that would force me to face myself again. Set a goal.
Make a plan.
Do the work.
Show up when I’m tired.
Show up when life is heavy.
And don’t f@$#ing quit. This prep isn’t just about building a better physique. It’s about rebuilding my fight.
My discipline.
My confidence.
My ability to keep going when I can’t control the outcome. Because sometimes you don’t need a new life. You need to remember who you were before life knocked the fight out of you.
And I’m not folding this time. 🖤🔥 3 days… @summershreddingchampionship #bodybuilding #FitnessMotivation #FitnessJourney #StrongWomen 🦍 @jzilla_444

Watching my dad lose his ability to move changed the way I look at my own strength. It made me realize something I don’t think we talk about enough: You are not promised the body you have today. So I’m going to use mine. I’m going to lift heavy. I’m going to push myself. I’m going to take the trips. I’m going to chase the goals. And I’m going to do the things that scare me. Because I don’t want to spend my life waiting for the “right time” to live it. Dad has reminded me that none of this is guaranteed. So if there’s something on your heart… DO IT NOW. 👊🏼 Stop worrying about what people will think. Stop waiting until everything is perfect. Stop assuming you’ll always have tomorrow. You have your body. You have your mind. You have TODAY. Use it. 🔥 9 days out @summershreddingchampionship #mbfitness #parkinsonsawareness #lewybodydementia #figure #bodybuilding

The Comeback. 🖤 It’s been over 12 years—and an entirely different life lived in that time. Since I last competed, I’ve gone through IVF, pregnancy, C-section, becoming a mom, umbilical hernia repair, ACL and explant surgery. I’ve worked full-time, trained clients, raised my daughter, and helped care for my 71yo father through Parkinson’s and Lewy Body Dementia. A lot of life happened. A lot of hard things happened. And somewhere along the way, I realized I wanted to prove something to myself. As moms, we spend so much of our lives pouring into everyone else. I wanted to remind myself that I’m still capable of doing hard things—and that difficult seasons don’t have to mean giving up on yourself. So I gave myself a pretty darn crazy goal—prep for a show in basically eight weeks, before I turn 46. 🤪 In 16 days, I am excited to step on stage at @summershreddingchampionship in Houston. I don’t have the size for my 5’9” frame that the figure pros of today have. I’m bringing MY physique. MY shape. MY strength. MY story. MY comeback. I’m not chasing the body I had at 33 when I last competed. I’m showing what can still be built after 12+ years, motherhood, surgeries, setbacks, work, family and everything life has thrown at me. This is about hitting a goal I set for ME. ❤️‍🔥 Thank you @jzilla_444 for jumping into this last minute prep with me and just simply saying, “Hell yeah. Let’s do it.” 👊🏼 It’s never too late. You’re never too old. And you’re never too far removed from who you were to become something even stronger. The comeback isn’t about going back. It’s about moving forward. 🐉 #bodybuilding #figure #comeback #fitover40 #fitmom Show @summershreddingchampionship Coach @jzilla_444 Hometown Gym @fortifiedfitness_wptx Prep Gym @the_flex_it_gym Fueled by @rodeocoffeeco Defying Age by @aledoaestheticsandwellness
