Meet @k.bugs.25 , our new Social Media Chair for the 2026–2027 academic year. This is her first year on our board and we are so excited to start working alongside her as she is already bringing so much creativity, passion, joy, and main character energy to the role. Kaelah is an Environmental Studies major with a Psychology minor, and her wide involvement across seven clubs shows just how dedicated she is to staying active, connected, and making an impact on and off campus.

You can meet her and some of our other exec board members at Blast off in the George W. Jenkins Field House on August 25th

Junior Year: Mission Completed. This year has been my greatest test yet, of my passion, my skills, and my resilience. But you know what they say: the greatest pressure makes diamonds. Thank you to all of the wonderful people that walk the walk with me, it’s a joy to stand beside you as a friend❤️

Special shoutout to the Bocelli Squad, it was such an honor and pleasure to make music and share this incredible experience and milestone with you, it’s a memory I will always cherish🫶

This afternoon, Kitty Cat Lounge stepped out into the community with @travisdoodles and Worth and Purpose at their beautiful new Main Street location — and together, with other community members, we helped serve lunch to over 100 folks and families. 💛

Our son, amazing KCL volunteers, and I spent the early afternoon sharing meals, handing out clothes and shoes, and watching neighbors get fresh haircuts that made them shine. ✂️✨

It’s important to remember that anyone can experience homelessness. We met parents, seniors, young adults, and entire families — all doing their best to get through each day.

Today, some of the biggest reasons people become homeless include:
✨ Housing costs skyrocketing far beyond wages
✨ Unmet mental health needs and limited access to care
✨ Rapid population growth that outpaces available housing
✨ Low wages that make stability nearly impossible

We’re so grateful to @travisdoodles and Worth and Purpose for the heart-filled work they do every day, and honored to lend our paws and hearts whenever we can. 🐾💛

Community care is love in action.
