In celebration of National Book Month I want to highlight a friend of mine, an amazing Author @creativelifeoflutz who has already published her first book, One World United, and is currently working on her second book. If you enjoy reading and would like to help support an artist you can find her book on @borderlandsmediapublishing website. You can use code: Lexi for a promo discount. Or if you could help me share her work I would truly appreciate that!!!

There’s something about 38 that feels different.
Not softer. Not quieter.

Stronger… in a way that doesn’t need to prove anything.
I’ve lived. I’ve lost. I’ve built. I’ve started over.
And somewhere along the way, I stopped asking for permission to take up space.

This version of me?

She knows who she is.

Captured at the custom house—where history meets presence, and stories linger in the walls… just like the ones we carry.

Here’s to growing into yourself… fully, unapologetically, and right on time.

Not every story is rushed.

Some are meant to be held… turned over slowly… felt in pieces before they’re fully understood.

Dez doesn’t just read One World United—she sits with it. Lets it settle. Lets it ask questions back.

That’s the kind of story I always hoped to create. One that doesn’t just pass the time… but stays with you long after you’ve closed the cover.

If you’ve been looking for something a little deeper, a little different…

This might be your next read.

There’s something about pieces that just feel like you.
Easy. Comfortable. A little bold. A little western. And completely effortless.

This tee from @mvf_westernwear is exactly that kind of find—the one you throw on and somehow feel more like yourself the second you do. Paired with your favorite denim, a great belt, and a little turquoise… it’s not just an outfit, it’s a whole mood.

And that’s what I love about shopping local—you don’t just find clothes, you find pieces with personality. Pieces that fit your life, your style, and your story.

If you haven’t stopped by Mimbres Valley Feed lately… this is your sign.

Go take a look. I promise you’ll walk out with something you didn’t know you needed

There’s a quiet kind of strength in stillness.

@sunshinelanes_ doesn’t need to demand attention—she holds it. Effortlessly. Rooted like the tree beside her, yet soft in every movement, every glance. This moment feels like something pulled from another time… where elegance wasn’t rushed, and beauty didn’t need to be loud to be unforgettable.

I’m always drawn to images like this—the ones that feel like a story paused mid-sentence. Where texture, light, and presence come together to create something both grounded and ethereal.

Kendall brought that balance so naturally. Strength and softness. Grace and edge.

And somehow… it all just lingers.
