Khuloud Shibani didn't grow up seeing herself in space stories. Today she's living them, training AI on science, and building bridges for underrepresented voices. Her zero-G reflection hits different.

Hear her advice for you, the next crew.

That’s right, you can be next with our “Take Off in Zero-G” campaign now open! This summer we are selecting passionate individuals 18+ from regions where space voices are often underrepresented for a seat on an Air Zero G flight from Bordeaux, France on August 26, 2026.

Winners get hands-on mentorship from top science communicators, training to strengthen their storytelling, and support to develop and launch their own science-focused social media channels later this year.

This is more than weightlessness. It's your chance to become a space communicator, share your unique perspective, and help tell the story of humanity's future among the stars with voices from every corner of the globe. No prior experience needed.

Ready to join? Fill out the form and post a public video answering:
1. Why do you want to become a space communicator?
2. What unique perspective do you bring?
3. Why does space storytelling matter in your region?

Tag Space for Humanity, use #TakeOffInZeroG, and keep it public. Deadline July 15.

Through AstroQuisqueya, I’ve worked to bring science, STEM opportunities, and space closer to people in the Dominican Republic.

I’ve learned a lot by doing it, but I know there is still so much more to learn about this beautiful craft of turning science into information, and information into possibility.

The opportunity to receive mentorship from people who have been doing this work would help me become a better space communicator for a community that has grown so much and is ready to see space within reach.

That is one of the reasons I’m applying to Take Off in Zero-G with Space for Humanity.

For the mentorship, for the opportunity to experience zero gravity, and for the chance to bring this story back home to the Dominican Republic, the Caribbean, and Latin America.

See you in the air ✨

What if defying gravity was just the beginning? Step into a moment where joy, wonder, and weightlessness collide. Ready to float beyond limits?

I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor than Dr. Sian Proctor @drsianproctor —thank you for your wisdom, strength, and for reminding us to lead with possibility. To all the incredible mentors who shared their charisma, kindness, and passion along the way: thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Nine changemakers from six countries floated in zero gravity — not just for the thrill, but to prove that space belongs to everyone.

Mentored by astronauts, scientists, and storytellers, they soared beyond limits and returned with a mission: to ignite possibility here on Earth.

This is more than a flight. It’s a movement.

To space, for Earth. 🌍✨

POV: You open my camera roll 📸🚀
Just some casual floating… defying gravity, waving my flag, and living my dream 🪐💫

I got to meet incredible people on this journey — couldn’t have asked for a better crew to share this with.
Grateful to have experienced this with my fellow Space for Humanity mentees — this memory wouldn’t be the same without you all.

Thank you @spacehumanity and @gozerog for this unforgettable ride.
Sometimes the camera roll holds more than memories — it holds proof that dreams do come true.
