Peggy Lee “FEVER”
The contemporary music video celebrates Peggy’s alluring subtlety, elegance, sensuality and individual expression. A pioneer and trendsetter, she fought battles and broke barriers that benefitted the artists who followed her. “Fever isn’t such a new thing, fever started long ago."

Don’t miss the World Premiere at 6AM PT/9AM ET.

Numbers numbers numbers

Again, I can't thank you enough for sharing and tagging me in stories and posts. It means the world to me it really does. So much positivity to feed off! I feel like, however, the attention that this brings to my page has the potential to be lost and taken no further than a few scrolls due to my “Followers" number sitting below a certain expectation. This isn't a moan or a call for sympathy at all, I'm just thinking out loud! Something interesting to consider. Do you ever legitimise someone based on their social currency? In fact what is social currency?

Head voice:
"They haven't got that many followers, ahh they can't be that good" or
"They've got so much more followers than them.. they must have more to offer."

People have their reasons. But thank you so much to those that have found their way on to my page and stuck around simply from liking what they've heard 🎶❤️
I hope you'll find the journey interesting!

Everyone has to start from somewhere 🙋🏾‍♂️

ALSO. Different matter. I feel like we naturally tend to only start appreciating an artist, product, or anything really, once someone established, famous or someone you trust has given it a cosign. Hence celeb paid ads and influencer promotions. Exercise your own opinion! You were blessed with your own taste too! Don't be afraid to like something before someone else decides that it's time for you to aha.
Building an attachment to someone entertaining early on in their climb is exciting. I do it all the time. Love it.

This honestly isn't a rant lol, the energies are way too high right now for that and I've genuinely been overwhelmed by kind words and gestures from you. It's just some food for thought. An invitation into my psyche. How do you navigate around the above?

I'm a victim of opinions too though: unfollowing people every now and then to keep my following number below 4 digits. Don't want that ratio getting out of control now do we?! Pathetic 😂

Who do you know that claim they don't care about numbers and genuinely don't care? Take me to them. I'm trying to learn something 👨🏾‍🏫

Anyways, back to staring at the stream count for Outside. See ya 😘
