June photo 🚮

“Leap and the net will appear.” That’s my favorite quote from The Artist’s Way, and it’s the singular piece of advice that changed the trajectory of my life. From quitting my job in Miami with no backup plan, to moving cross-country to LA to chase my dreams, I’ve made major leaps in the past year.

Spoiler alert: the net always appears :)

Are you a real Floridian if you don’t make a pre-beach @publix run?

My mama retired after 35 years in education 📚 AND celebrated her [redacted] birthday 🎉 so you know we had to show up and show out for my girl!

Every time I come back to this city another neighborhood staple is gone. Gentrification under the guise of “improvement.”

Life can humble me, but you can’t 😘

S/o to @blackenglishbookstore for my signed copy of @kennedyryan1’s Score 📖

@oxfordexchange doesn’t have free wifi but I’m not knocking the hustle. Definitely one of my favorite places to do work in Tampa Bay…with a mobile hotspot 🛜

They’re saying “2026 is the new 2016” 🎞️ well back then I was having my way as a rising senior in undergrad, dancing almost everyday, making YouTube videos in my dorm room, and eating ice cream for breakfast. Actually…yeah let’s run 2016 back 🏃🏽‍♀️

How to make sure you don’t smell like ANYBODY else? Make your own fragrance oil! 😍

Me and the fam went to @myshadeandtexture for DIY fragrance oils and body scrubs. This has been my go-to base scent all summer ☀️ Perfect for layering my gourmand perfumes.

Follow me @jaichanellie for more fragrance baddie recommendations 😋

Zero chance we let the day pass without publicly acknowledging the women we’re blessed to call mothers.

Proverbs 31:28–29: “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.’”
