The muscle car. Timeless, aggressive and impossible to ignore. Mafia-spec attitude, a killer V8 soundtrack, and the kind of practicality that almost makes the whole thing seem reasonable.

2008–2011 (Pre-Facelift): Features the iconic, naturally aspirated 6.2-liter M156 V8 engine paired with a 7-speed automatic torque-converter transmission.

2012–2014 (Facelift): Received a mid-cycle refresh featuring updated LED headlights, a modernised interior, and a much sharper 7-speed AMG Speedshift MCT wet-clutch transmission.

You really can’t fault the look. Timeless, aggressive and still one of the best-looking performance wagons ever made. Earlier cars are now well within the bracket, though plenty are starting to look tired; while cleaner later examples like the Fire Opal Red (pictured), still push beyond the $50k bracket. Silver can sometimes flatten the drama, so condition matters more than just badge or colour.

When they’re right, though, they’re properly special: V8 noise, rear-drive attitude, and all the wagon practicality still intact.

Wagons still do something other body styles don’t. They give you the practicality everyone expects, then add performance, styling and individuality on top. And because there are fewer of them around, the good ones feel even more special.

Started life as a ROW 1994 993 C2 original amaranth violet non sunroof car. Completely restored with complete repaint, interior refresh suspension refresh & engine/gearbox rebuild with full documentation. Binder i complete with invoices, hand written build notes, dyno graphs, originally service booklets.
