Makenna had a great North Half Swim meet today. We don’t know official times yet to see if she qualified for state, but either way I’m so proud of her. This is a completely new sport and she has definitely excelled this year. Looking forward to the rest of her senior year to see what else she achieves. We also got to see my sister for the first time in two years. It was great to see her and catch up. #futureisbright😎 #myminime #classof2027

It’s hard to believe that you’re already 21. I still see you as just a little boy. But you’ve grown into such a handsome and responsible man. In just 21 years, you have accomplished so much and still have so many more things to achieve. I’m so proud of your courage to try new things, go new places and just step out on faith. I know you’re in France with your friends having an amazing weekend and I look forward to hearing all about it. Happy 21st Birthday Jared. I love you so much. #mysonshine💙☀️ #futureisbright😎 #21stbirthday

Four years of Homecoming Dances with Kenna. It’s crazy how fast time goes. I love that I’ve been able to have a front row seat to all of the events. But it’s sad to know it is all coming to an end. #myminime #classof2027 #futureisbright😎

Makenna swam in her first ever swim meet today. She swam a qualifying time and qualified for North Half. That will occur in a few weeks. Kenna is truly special. I haven’t found anything that she isn’t good at. I’m so proud of her for always stepping out of her comfort zone and accomplishing things. I look forward to her continuing to excel at swim this year and anything else she tries. #myminime #mybrokebestfriend #msms #classof2027 #futureisbright😎

Bittersweet day dropping Jared off at the airport as he begins his study abroad year in Spain. 🇪🇸 I’m definitely sad to see him go, but I’m even more proud and excited for what’s ahead. He’s prepared for this opportunity for a long time, and now it’s finally here. I know he’s going to do great things, make unforgettable memories, and show another part of the world just how amazing Jared Smith truly is. Go experience the world, son. 🌎 Make every moment count. I love you and couldn’t be prouder! ❤️ Spain, take care of my boy! 🇪🇸✈️ #mysonshine #studyabroad #spain

Longest week of my life but lwk worth it 💪🏾 “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”
