From The Archives (Part 2): Winter 2026!
A weird ass snow year but we made the most of it. Became a resort girl again (shoutout @snowbird), explored the backyard with my best friends, fell in love, laughed a lot with my @_declarative team, joined the board of @slcosar, and took beanie skiing. Here’s to hoping this winter gives us a little more.

You and I, we’ve stood on all sorts of mountain summits together. Ones with sharp ridge lines, ones where the wind could have blown us sideways, ones where we waited with baited breath to ski the untouched line below, ones where we took pause and let the sunshine kiss our faces. No matter the summit, it’s become one of my very favorite places to be. Here, with you. This one marks the best one yet.

Top of the backyard at sunset, no place more special to say yes to forever ♥️

That’s a wrap on the final week of our 88th season. 🥲

The final days of this weird winter had a little bit of everything—sunny slush laps, dust on crust, wind buff, hot pow and even a little boilerplate to keep you on your toes. All leading up to a 13-inch Closing Day powder party.

As we’ve done all season, we embraced everything Mother Nature threw our way and just kept skiing. And the skiing was surprisingly great.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a day, a week or all 141 days of the Best Worst Season. Let’s do it again next season—but maybe with a little more snow.

One of my favorite photos was included in the Women of Winter exhibit at @arcteryxacademy last week, a gallery that showcased 10 women snowsports photographers dedicated to backcountry pursuits. It’s an absolute honor to have this image included among so much talent. And it’s a complete JOY to see all of the masterpieces that women are creating in the ski and snowboard space. Here’s to the women who are out there capturing magic and to the women who are yet to come 👏🏼

Thank you to @arcteryx, @theskijournal and @thesnowboardersjournal for bringing this installment to life. And to @_katielo and @lily.krass.ritter for their continual commitment to uplifting women’s work. To learn more about how this exhibit came to be and to see the full gallery visit theskijournal.com.

Born upon a stormy traverse in BC’s Coast Mountains, Women of Winter features ten women from across the globe who are dedicated to capturing backcountry adventures. Presented as a physical show at the Arc’teryx Backcountry Academy in Mammoth, CA, this gallery celebrates the diversity of women behind the lens across the outdoor industry and aims to inspire more women to pick up a camera and chase moments in the mountains. The digital version is live now at the link in bio.

Whether you’re ringing in the new year on two wheels or counting down until your next ride, here’s to more miles, more grit, and more time outside.
