We celebrated National Down Syndrome Day with fun mismatched socks at work.

Ever wondered why it’s celebrated with mismatched socks on 3-21?
Wonder no more.

Mismatched socks, particularly on World Down Syndrome Day (March 21st), symbolize celebrating individuality and embracing differences, promoting awareness and acceptance of people with Down syndrome, and highlighting the unique nature of the 21st chromosome.

Last night, I closed the doors of Elan Savannah for the very last time at 3:58AM. Even now, it’s hard to believe it’s over. The music, the laughter, the energy—it all feels like it’s still echoing, a reminder of just how special this place was.

Elan wasn’t just a venue. It was a home. It was where strangers became friends, where friends became family, where memories were made, and where moments turned into something unforgettable. It was built on love, passion, and the magic that each of you brought through those doors. And most importantly, it was what transformed me into the person I am today.

Closing those doors and turning off the lights one last time wasn’t sad—it was powerful. It felt like the perfect ending to an incredible story we all wrote together. Elan gave me everything I could have dreamed of and more—lessons I’ll never forget, friendships I’ll always treasure, and memories that will stay with me forever.

To everyone who was part of this journey—every artist, every team member, every guest, every agent, every label, every DJ, every contractor: thank you. You made Elan Savannah what it was, and I’m forever grateful to have shared this with you.

The doors might be closed. The lights might be out. The music may have stopped. But Elan will live on in all of us. Thank you for being part of this incredible chapter of my life.

With all my heart,
Signing off,
Last call,
