Kids Today! Aren’t they awesome. Let me introduce you to Emma Shankland. Emma is the October Student of the Month for Clinton High School and the speaker at our Wednesday night meeting. As Student Of The Month, she is eligible to be considered for our Rotary Club Of Clinton Scholarship. It is always amazing to hear what these students are up to. Take a look at Emma’s accomplishments: Current classes that have her holding a current GPA of 4.8 for her senior year include: AP Biology AP Government E2020 Pharmacy Technician AP Calc AB Lab Assistant Career Exploration Pathways (PHRM 100-Purdue University) AP English Literature Her list of honors and awards are many and include those for both academic and sports. Emma’s list of community service is equally as long and diverse. Her current plans for the future include pursuing a degree in pharmacy at the University of Michigan or Toledo with an intention to obtain a pharmD degree with a possible residency program to specialize in pediatrics. We wish Emma continued success in her final year at Clinton High School and look forward to seeing where the future takes her.
