January, you were a lot in all of the best and my most favorite ways (Winslow would agree) Somewhere in the middle of all this, I also went all-in on something new: I’m now a full-time apartment locator and realtor with @dwell_inc It’s been a whirlwind of learning, early mornings, and figuring out how to balance multiple businesses I love (this + photography). But it feels right…helping people navigate big transitions and all the things life throws at them has always been the work that lights me up 🤍✨ cheers to new things, friends 🫶🏼

A little photo recap from my time in Houston and Dallas, shot on 35mm film and digital. I can confirm that Texas was big on love and friendship. Meeting a lot of people from your significant other’s life can sometimes be overwhelming—especially when it’s all packed into just four days—but I had nothing short of an amazing time. It was such a joy to meet so many wonderful people, and I’d gladly do it all again. Can’t wait to go back with @katieminn.

Nothing like posting a ✨2024 Recap✨ in February, amirite?? 😅 I had no clue the adventures God would lead me on when the year began. I had no clue how much He’d shake up my life and everything I knew about myself and about who He is. 2024 might just be the year that I lived the most. I had countless dance parties, Broadway raves, sleepovers, and movie marathons. I went to a casino for the first time (and got ✨VIP treatment✨) I took baking classes, explored the town with family and reached new achievements in my career before taking the biggest leap of all. Maybe most importantly, I deepened my friendships and family relationships, experienced one of the hardest heartaches I’ve ever known and walked with God to new places all while learning more about myself than I thought possible. I took a big leap into the unknown in 2024, and I’m excited to see where I land in 2025.

Today would have been 8 years of being full time with Fossil. I started in stores as a sales associate in May of 2011. My dream was to design clothing for Fossil. It was the vintage, but modern aesthetic that drew me in. I loved the quirkiness in our product and the people that also had a quirky air to them. Over the years, I have made so many life long friendships through Fossil. It is with a heavy heart that my career with Fossil has come to a close. I was laid off on Monday. My position was eliminated in a global restructure that left so many, including myself, without a job. I always joked that Fossil was the boyfriend I couldn’t breakup with. LOL Welp, Folks, Fossil broke up with me. I’m forever grateful for the time spent and all I learned at Fossil. I am SO EXCITED for the future. I know the Lord isn’t done with me and I know this isn’t the end of my career. It’s just a redirection and a chance for something so new and so beautiful to come into my life. Farewell, Fossil, we had a good run. 🥹🫶🏻

Oh, Mom, where do I start? You’re just an angel. Gail is patient and kind; Gail does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. She does not insist on its own way; she is not irritable or resentful; she does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Truly, that’s who she is. She’s not perfect, but she’s the closest I’ve seen. I am so incredibly blessed to call her Mom.
