POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I was meant to be at Boomtown this year and was absolutely gutted I couldn’t go, but We Out Here more than made up for it and more??? I’ve done a few festivals now, and there’s something special about briefly looking at the lineup, then semi forgetting about it and following your ears. That’s exactly what I did.I had my peoplez around me, felt completely at home, but also had loads of solo adventures and met some wicked new dawgs along the way.

Peven Everett, Gary Bartz, Shackleton, Calibre, the fuckin’ Outlook Orchestra, Glenn Underground, Kenny Dope, Wookie, Spanish Fly, Yazmin Lacey, Double O, Gilles Peterson’s secret set and so much more that I couldn’t fit on here…. What in the fuck???? All these at once??? That is diverse af

But the names almost became secondary. Wandering into music I ain’t heard before, crossing genres without thinking about it and letting curiosity lead the way reminded me why I fell in love with music in the first place.A beautifully curated, genuinely diverse festival that somehow still feels intimate and human. Everyone is mega sound

Huge love to everyone I met, danced with, talked records with and shared the weekend with. And a massive thank you to my Eastern Bloc family for giving me the opportunity to be part of it We Out Here 2026. Officially the best festival I’ve ever been to.
Special shoutouts too @dreandrew_ @otter.478004 you two made that Saturday really special 🔒 didnt even lose my peoplez just met these 3 heroes went on a solo one. Also starstruck moment with @blackdownkeysound , an artist and journalist ive been following for years. Much love too ya mate. Met my top 3 @sage_introspekt !!! Does it get any better??? set w my bro @jandu_music was wicked! Second post on that coming

Delayed Gottwood post!

15 yrs of Gottwood and the best Gottwood hands down.

Huge thank you to @rumriddimzrun and @nuusic for inviting me to open the barn for @gottwood. This was a distant goal when I started DJ’ing 6 years ago and I really soaked up the realisation up on the decks. Gottwood has been one of my biggest influences on my music taste since coming 8 years ago, I’ve seen friends and family play here, so to join the 15 year anniversary cohort and play my personal favourite set too feels bloody fantastic. Congratulations to everyone that makes this festival, it’s a huge achievement to make something so special happen.

Big love to those I was able to see, and to those I met! Really gutted I missed so many people but Spain calls!! 🇪🇸🤪

R&R time - until we meet at the castle next week!!! 🏰

CHIMPO / HIT THE DUB BOAT PARTY

Chimpo is the UK’s music legacy personified. His legendary DJ sets take in all the genres created within the UK and all of the influences that inform them. He infuses his musical loves into his songs and sets from Dancehall, Jungle, DnB, Hip Hop and Soul and stirring them into the pot.

He works as a triple threat; production, DJing and vocalist. With two albums under his belt and having vocalled some of the biggest Drum n Bass anthems of the last few years, he stands as a highly rated and influential artist.

This Saturday he will be bringing you a Dancehall to Jungle set, on the high seas of Salford Quays. A BOAT PARTY to cure the Jan Blues.
