This Friday, October 9 from 5 to 9pm The Chapel of Becoming opens at The Lab in San Francisco.

On Saturday, October 10 at 1pm, I will be in conversation with Jack Halberstam at The Lab, preceded by a poetry reading by Cameron Awkward-Rich in partnership with the Trans Negativity Symposium organized by Simon(e) Van Saarloos & Be Schierenberg.

Excited to bring this work to life. After two years of making tiles, studying the forms and architecture and filming, it’s finally ready.

Thank you to The Lab, my amazing studio assistants Hunter Taylor-Black (@htaylorblk) and Mariana Varela (@oneslowdance_ ), Colin Dickson, Joel Frank (@j.d.frank), Isabel Johnson (@izzy00j), Anthony Russell (@antonio_californio), Andrew Smith for helping to bring this together. Thank you to the amazing film crew, Chani Bockwinkel (@chanibocks), Jon Sun (@jon.sun), Mari Aguilar, and Kate Rhoades (@kaaaaate).

Peppy group show tribute @bassandreiner to #pachecopass , the high point of a largely commercial stretch of road, route 152 to be exact, connecting 101 and Gilroy to I-5, Los Banos and beyond. I'm sure that's way more than you wanna know. But now you know. Meanwhile back at the art, the star of the show is an ode to roadside produce stands, the kind you see along the way, with some rather faithful renditions of their distinct vernacular signage by @adrenieline 🥦 #bassandreiner

Pacheco Pass is on view now at @bassandreiner! Featuring pieces by @adrenieline, @waggledance, @ariibiird, @goldmatt and @kaaaaate. These artists were invited to respond to the farm stands on Pacheco Pass (connecting the 101 and 5 near Gilroy) -- the signage, drive-through city folk, etc. -- and I'm so excited to see the work together.

Opening reception Saturday, June 6 from 4-7 along with all the other MSP things. Come say hi!

I was lucky enough to spend 6 wonderful weeks up in the bay installing some Sol LeWitt Wall Drawings at SFMOMA. I’m so thankful to have been a part of this, and to have gotten to meet so many special people (and new friends)! It was a very full circle moment for me, and looking back already feels like a dream. Thanks so much to everyone who made this a reality ❤️
If you’re in the bay go see the drawings!!
