POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What a privilege it was to capture the JOY at @penney_memorial as they started their Sabbatical Summer with a send-off for their lead pastor and his family as they take the summer off to spend time together as a family 🤍

Very grateful for the opportunity to be there and to experience the love of Jesus in such a powerful way 👏🏼

Thank you for inviting us! 🫶🏼

Because every discovery call is an interview for the client AND us 👏🏼
We’re talking about relationships and fit 💯

Can we deliver what you want within your timeline and budget?
Are you open to new tactics and strategies?
Do our visions align on what success looks like?

Client satisfaction is KEY and a good flow between the producer and client is a foundation we like to build on 🤘🏼 Here’s what we’re looking for with each question ⬇️

👉🏼 What are your current goals…
❌ undefined, unsure, wanting us to create them for them
✅ clearly defined, data-drive, and ready to consult on them

👉🏼 Who is your dream customer and why?
❌ not clear on the why or who they want to reach
✅ not a dealbreaker, but are they open to change? Because communication style changes depending on who we want to reach!
❌ not open to rebranding and redefining
✅ ready to take it to the next level and try new things

👉🏼 What marketing work have you done? What worked and what didn’t?
❌ not willing to try again with new strategy or hesitant to “start over”
✅ wants to repeat what works and wants to explore new trends and platforms

👉🏼 What does success look like when we work together?
❌ moving target, depends on what happens, no clear goals
✅ we set goals and expectations and then MEET them
❌ wants immediate results
✅ our first 30 days is all about RESEARCH because we want to build consistent results over time that last OVER fleeting trend momentum

👉🏼 What’s your budget and timeline?
❌ unrealistic budgets around effective promotion costs
✅ understanding that you get what you pay for and consistency and frequency will produce long-term and lasting results
❌ 30 day contracts
✅ 90 day minimums

Our ULTIMATE goal is to help our clients SUCCEED, which is why we aren’t afraid to say no when it’s not a good fit. And we understand that decision goes BOTH ways 🔥

And we love transparency on our decision-making process!

Did you really just watch me eat a sandwich?!

Seriously though…
This is the power of a visual hook 👌🏼

And here’s 10 more for you to try 👇🏼

✨Opening a door
✨Opening a box
✨Walking into frame
✨Walking out of frame
✨Applying makeup or lotion
✨Zooming into to something
✨Dancing
✨Leaning down to pick something up
✨Tapping the screen
✨Adjusting the camera

Don’t overcomplicate it. The more authentic you are on social media the more people will engage with your content.

And if you’re selling products or tools - the world hasn’t changed much - people buy from people they LIKE, KNOW, and TRUST.

Which visual hook can you use today to drive engagement?

How many times is too many times?

But real talk…
takes are time ⏱️
and time is money 💵
and we love saving money…

Which is why we love scripting 📑

Not only can cut back on takes and time, but you can be sure to include keywords that make your content show up better in searches.

And when done correctly, you can repurpose content into multiple clips from one take 🎬

Have you tried scripting and teleprompters for your content?

Repeat after me…

STRATEGY over PLATFORM 👏🏼

I’ve said no to so many social media platforms over the years and @tiktok was one of them. Not because there wasn’t value in it, but it wasn’t AS VALUABLE as building a mailing list (which I own) and creating evergreen multi-platform content.

And the most influential people I follow aren’t panicking because they know this too.

There will always be a new way to edit content, share content, and platform to use, but YOU and YOUR business need to be evergreen.

Don’t panic, but start these three things today 👇🏼

1. Build a way to collect emails.
2. Create content you OWN.
3. Diversify your platforms.

You can do this 🔥

Consistent content is THE KEY to growth 🔑

And to be consistent, you have to actually have CONTENT to use… which is why BROLL matters.

And if you’re like, “So, I just film myself doing stuff?”
My answer is YESSSSSS 👏🏼👏🏼

And let’s be real, it’s gonna feel weird at first, but this was filmed in a coffee shop while I worked on client copywriting. I started my camera and just went about my usual routine.

And then I repositioned the camera and kept going again.

And I believe YOU can do the same thing 🔥

Here’s some 💡 IDEAS💡 to get you started 👇🏼

✨ You making calls to customers
✨ Sitting down at your desk, opening your laptop, and starting to check your emails/type
✨ Putting your makeup on for the day or styling your outfit
✨ You reading a book or taking notes while reading
✨ You making your coffee for the day

Go and get it!

And if you’re ready to have someone else do it for you, let us know and we’ll schedule a discovery call 📞

Did you catch that?!

Crazy, right? How many visual hooks did you see in that video?

We started with the caption:

“You’ll never believe what happened when…”
And so you’re hooked and wanna know what’s next…
waiting for the 🫳🏼🎤

We build anticipation with cuts to different parts of the sandwich making process, keeping you viewing longer.

And we finish with the bite… the big thing that happened when we visited @jerseymikes for the first time is 😱😱😱

WE DISCOVERED THAT IT’S SO GOOD

A dash of ASMR audio with a subtle splash of trending audio… ✨ VOILA ✨

I know, it’s cheesey 👌🏼 But it’s also the type of content that increases engagement makes people watch your content longer.

I started!

Yeah, that’s it.

For so long I was caught up in comparison and the fear of failure, but the greatest failure I was experiencing was the failure to launch 💀

And so I made THREE bold moves 👇🏼

I made the Instagram accounts. I made the website. And I started sharing content.

That’s it.

From there I shared with some friends who helped get me some jobs. And I started producing content.

Since then…
I’ve booked more than 20 projects (video, photo, content creation, and web design) and started hiring out contractors to complete work.

I don’t know where you are right now, but I do now that TODAY is a good day to START.

Come and follow along on this journey with me! 🙌🏼🔥

🎥✨ Ready to level up your content game in 2025?

This year’s video trends are NEXT LEVEL! Which trend are you trying first? 👀👇

1. AI-Generated Content
Work smarter not harder - save time and energy to focus on getting it done without spending hours getting it done

2. Vertical Storytelling
People are ON THEIR PHONES which means 9:16 ratios win one 16:9. Optimize reels and shorts and tell the complete story in 90 seconds or less.

3. Interactive Poll Videos
Engagement is key and people like to share their opinions. Use this to your advantage by using polls to drive engagement.

4. Behind The Scenes/Day In The Life
As AI and other things create more polished looks, people crave authenticity and unpolished looks at life, work, etc. Let them see the REAL you!

5. Mini Tutorials
Bite-sized how to’s focusing on simplicity in the process. Anyone can do it.

6. Deinfluencing Content
Overhyped content is out. People want to see REAL people doing big things. Inspire them with what is POSSIBLE. Be an expert in authenticity and transparency.

7. Longform Text
People are reading content again. They want it to be easy to understand and step by step options keep them engaged.

8. ASMR
Is this satisfying? Painting, chopping, crunching… create an immersive first person POV experience. They can taste it; hear it; feel it. Sensory satisfaction is a trend that’s here to stay.

9. Nostalgia
Remember when TBT was a thing? Well, nostalgia and longing for the “old days” is a universal connector or generations. Polaroids. Retro effects. 2010’s trends. All are back in style.

10. Subtle Product Placement
People don’t want you to TELL them to use products they want you to actually USE them. It’s about lifestyle, not sales. People want your lifestyle, not your products.
