One of my goals and want cards is finally in my collection with the other XY Umbreons. This is my favorite artwork of all time. UMBREON XY-P140. I want to say thank you @jen81489 who sold me it. And @eeveeteam1 who showed me it at first. @hau_bwr_tcg thank you for helping to get it in time!❤️Finally all languages complete🤩. In the background you can see the Poster of the tournament from 2015 @yumei.nihon thank you for it🤩❤️ (still need a frame for the poster) NEXT GOAL ALL LANGUAGES OF THIS ARTWORK IN PSA10!!!!

story of the card:

In the summer of 2015, Official Pokemon Card Gyms and Pokemon Center stores across Japan would host “Umbreon Night Battle” events.
These were held weekly, from June 1 – 30, 2015, and were open to all ages. As the event name would suggest, this event was held in the evening, and most locations would start the even around 5-6 PM local time. Players would bring 60-card decks and play games with 6 prizes with standard XY era regulations. All participants of the event would earn an exclusive “All Night Party” promo card. Players would play a round-robin tournament, and then the top 4 players would advance to the finals. The 1st place winner of the tournament would earn a holofoil Umbreon promo card. Because each store only ran the event once a week, this meant that every store would only issue 4 total Umbreon promo cards during the month that the campaign was active. Due to the scarcity of the card, the price of the card in the secondary market is quite high. It is safe to conclude that there are probably under 1000 copies of this card, and most definitely under 2000.

I have looked through many Ampharos cards….I am happy to finally see one of this set showing that swirl proudly.

In my experience it almost never happens because of how dark the holo is. What a beaut.

It evolves from Flaaffy starting at level 30. It is the final form of Mareep.

Ampharos can Mega Evolve into Mega Ampharos using the Ampharosite.

Ampharos was officially revealed in the May 1997 issue of CoroCoro, along with Donphan and Slowking.

Snorlax is a huge, bipedal, dark blue-green mammalian Pokémon with a cream-colored face, belly, and feet. Its body is composed of mostly its belly, as its limbs are comparatively small. Its head is large with small, pointed ears, and two pointed teeth protruding from its lower jaw. It has round feet, which both have three claws and a circular brown paw pad, and short arms with five claws on each hand. Snorlax's bulk makes it the heaviest Normal type.

Snorlax is often found in mountains and forests. It wakes up only to eat, requiring 900 lbs. (400 kg) of food per day before returning to its slumber, although it can also eat while it is resting. It is not a picky eater, as its strong stomach allows it to eat even moldy food without feeling any ill effects. It can even handle thorny plants or Muk's poison. Snorlax is docile enough to let children and small Pokémon bounce on its large stomach. Despite its apparent laziness, however, Snorlax can exhibit tremendous power when prompted. Snorlax is known to appear without warning in villages and steal their food supplies, such as rice granaries, which has long been considered a disaster whenever it happens.
