Sunday, I traveled down to Westwego, LA for the Gumbo Festival!

We started the day with a quick bite to eat, then took a short tour around the festivals grounds. Then, we participated in a scavenger hunt, looking for the ingredients to make a gumbo! Although our team lost, we got to see a few of the vendors along the way.

Then we got a history lesson about the festival, its moves, and just how much it means to to community.

Harley, thank you so much for the invitation to share in your festival. I know our reigns won’t have overlapped long, but I just know you are going to do some great things!!

🐊 Alligator Festival
❤️‍🔥 September 26, 2026
📍 Luling

Last Saturday, I attended the Alligator Festival to celebrate Alligator Queens Kacey and Elle and all things alligator!! We had the chance to hold alligators and snakes and stroll the festival grounds with nearly 100 craft vendors. After buying some alligator merchandise and eating some delicious food, we introduced ourselves on stage. Thank you Kacey and Elle for a wonderful day!

September 19th, 2026!

One of my favorite foods is my mom’s Chicken and Andouille Gumbo, so it was only right that this Gumbo Queen spent her day in St. John the Baptist Parish celebrating Jade, Mikayla, and all things ANDOUILLE!! ☺️🖤🥘✨🌭💙🐊

We started our morning off at Cajun Pride Swamp Tours for a fun and educational excursion into local wetlands. While there, we saw so many alligators, raccoons, hogs, and other wildlife, and even got to hold a young alligator! Our next stop was Jacob’s World-Famous Andouille, where we were treated to delicious andouille snacks and got to see (and smell!) their smokehouses up close! ☺️🖤🥘✨🐷💙🐊

Next was a delicious lunch of salad, pasta, chicken, and fries at Petra’s, before a shopping trip at Roussel’s Fine Jewelry and Gifts! We relaxed and freshened up at the Hampton Inn in Laplace before attending the 2026 Miss and Teen Andouille Pageant! Congratulations to Queen Sanii and Teen D’ymond on the start of what I know will be a wonderful year of travels and memories! ☺️🖤🥘✨🐷💙💎👑

Jade, thank you so much for the invitation to celebrate you and Mikayla’s beautiful reigns! I had an absolute blast and am so grateful for our friendships formed this year. I love you both so much and cannot wait to see what your futures hold! ☺️🖤🥘✨🐷💙

August 30th, 2026!

A bittersweet “see-you-later” was said to two of my favorite gators as we welcomed in the 2026 Alligator Festival Queens! Jenna, you have truly become one of my closest friends over the last year; saying farewell to weekly travels with you was hard, but I know that you have such a bright future ahead, and I cannot wait until we’re doctors together! To 2026 Queen Kacey and Teen Elle, I am SO excited to watch your beautiful reigns unfold; they couldn’t have picked anyone more deserving of the job. Chomps and kisses, my girls!! 🥹🖤🥘✨🐊💚

On Saturday, I stayed local and traveled a little bit up the bayou to Larose to attend the French Food Festival Pageant. I started the day attending the children’s pageant to cheer on my baby hurricane and my cousin Harper! Both of which came home with the crown!! Im so proud of both of yall and I love both of yall so much!!

After the children’s pageant, I came back later that day for the evening pageant. Starting off with Mia Chiasson, I am sooo proud of you!! You have impressed me so much over this last year! I’m so proud of you and everything you have accomplished!! Can’t wait to see you back in the pageant world in a few months (don’t rush it tho)🌀! Now Aliza Callais, you have truly made a name for French Food. You have traveled so much and really represented our bayou amazingly! I’m forever proud of you!! I hope both of yall had an amazing reign!! Big congratulations to the incoming queens!! I can’t wait to spend this year and represent our bayou community with yall!! Lastly Hayleigh Jackson, just wow. You have truly grown so much! Like you said yourself, trust Gods plan. I can’t wait to see what you do next and what God’s plan for you is! I love you so much!! Forever my 2nd miss queen😉!

The Queen of Alligator Fest said bring me my co-star. 👑🐊😂

Only in Louisiana do you get a festival queen, a baby alligator, and BOTH of them absolutely working the camera.

We’re out at the 45th Annual Alligator Festival in Luling through Sunday — come find 504 Funk, eat something good, ride some rides, pet a gator, and come have some fun with us.

This little dude KNOWS he’s cute. 😭🐊

✨ A FULL CIRCLE MOMENT! ✨

We had the honor of attending the Alligator Pageant for our very first event, and we were SO excited to get out, support, and see all of the beautiful contestants! 👑💗

What made the evening even more special was seeing Kacey Beadle crowned Miss Alligator! Kacey was the 2025 Teen St. Charles Parish Festival Queen before Sirandin, making this such a sweet full-circle moment for our St. Charles Parish Festival family!!!! We are SO excited for you, Kacey, and can’t wait to see all that this next chapter holds! 👑✨

And a huge congratulations to Elle Johnson on earning the title of Alligator Teen Queen! 🐊👑 We are so proud of you and excited to cheer you on!

Thank you to the Alligator Pageant for allowing us to be part of such a special evening. We can’t wait for all the events, memories, and friendships to come! 💕👑
