When one chapter ends another begins. The past 3 years in Columbia working at Mizzou with students at Tiger Garden has been some of the most transformative years of my life.
I’ve met and worked with some incredible people. Mentoring and working with students has been so rewarding and challenging in all the best ways.
You don’t realize the impact you make until much later, but Kallie, my student leader (a title she hasn’t only earned but blossomed into) put together letters from students I’ve worked with and they brought me to tears reading their kind words. I am so happy to have crossed paths with so many students and I can’t wait to see all the wonderful things each student does after their time at MU.
To Lesleighan, thank you so much for always being my friend and trusting me to lead students in all the fun events and weddings over the last few years. You are truly one of kind and students are so lucky to have you in their corner.
My next steps bring me a lot closer to my very first. Home to Ethel. As I’ve grown older, and traveled more of the world, there is just something about home that nothing else compares too. Something’s are meant to be and when the opportunity arose to work with my friend, more like big sister, I said yes. Samantha is truly a visionary and we share our love for our hometown, a place that shaped the people we are today. I am so honored to become the innkeeper at The Recess Inn Bed and Breakfast. The inn holds a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to work with Samantha to preserve our history and bring new life to the building and community that we so love.
Stay tuned for all that we have in store at the Recess Inn and even better yet come and stay with me!

Attending a leadership conference today with @spreecultureco and it has given me so many new ideas and concepts to bring to my team. BUT first and foremost how proud I am of their growth and teamwork. I am so grateful! These are pictures of our events this past weekend. Just a few of the many events that we do! Shout out to Kallie, Alaina, Izzy, Emma, and Kacey. Y’all can do anything!
