I’ve been procrastinating this one for a while…
Goodbye to Alaska and the sport that has shaped me into the person that I am today. Gymnastics has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember and the transition to the next chapter has been one of the hardest things I’ve done, even harder than the hours of training and constant work it took to perfect skills and routines. I am so grateful that this sport was a part of my life, and I am even more grateful that I got to pursue it at the collegiate level, which was a goal of mine for as long as I can remember. Although it didn’t end how I wanted it to (I should have known a broken finger would do it iykyk) and I constantly wonder if I would have accomplished certain things if I would have worked a little harder, taken one more turn, or kept my legs together…, I am proud that I ended on a great season with consistency, confidence, and many hit routines. I put everything I had into this sport, pushed through LOTS of shoulder pain, and came farther than I thought I would.

Thank you to all my @cypresspointegymnastics coaches who pushed me to be the best version of myself and always believed in me on both the good and bad days and always gave me a place to train when I’d come home from college. I owe so much of my career to you guys.

Thank you to @uaagymnastics and the coaches for taking a chance on a bar specialist and making my collegiate gymnastics dream come true. I hope I’ve shown how much being on this team has meant to me.

Thank you Alaska and gymnastics for giving me some of my best friends who I wouldn’t trade for the world. I will cherish every memory with them and the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
