40 years later, I got to live the dream of my 19-year-old self: cheering on the field of the Big House! 💛💙

Back in college, a few friends and I founded the Michigan Wolverettes, a dance team that performed at basketball halftimes. (We once raised $300 for ourselves by cleaning the entire Chrysler Arena afterward. 🧹🤢) But I graduated before we ever got to perform at a football game.

I am so glad I made it back to Ann Arbor for Homecoming, where the incredible 2026 Michigan Dance Team welcomed us alumni with open arms. We marched in the parade with the band, joined the alumni festivities and CHEERED ON THE FIELD before kickoff!

Did I mess up a few cues? Yep. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Did I bounce when I should’ve stood? Mm hmm.
But did i worry how my knees looked in that skirt? NOT. FOR. A. MINUTE. 💛💙
