& like that Season 3 has come & gone🥺
It will not cease to amaze me what can happen in such a short period of time. Our year is condensed in half - season & off-season. August to April becoming one fantastic, gut-wrenching, euphoric blur. ❤️
When we got this new crew in June, who knew who we’d become. But together these 14 fighters formed a team. There’s unspeakable highs & lows; so much unseen by the media, friends & sometimes even family. So we become our own little family in a way. Challenging each other. Edifying one another. Grieving together. And winning not one without the other. 🖤
We battle hard. Through mental hoops and physical restraints. But we’re tough in that way. Carrying the West Texas name proudly through every arena we step into. 🤍
Each game forms its own timestamp. Creates its own memory. And while we undoubtedly share it with the world there are some pieces we get to keep just for ourselves. The pieces that took every ounce of heart to get there. The pieces that broke in silence. The pieces that carried others when they couldn’t. The pieces that together define a TEAM. ❤️
Unless you’re a national champion, no season ends how you want it to. But each season shocks me with how abruptly it ends. I’m so, so incredibly grateful you guys. That this, THIS is the team I get to serve. 🖤
As always, I cannot say this enough:

-Brother & Peyton, thank you for always investing in this with me and making games a priority.
-My friends’ patience w/ me is extraordinary & they are angels for sticking by me through every doubt, hope, celebration & misstep. The way they schedule around my schedule is insanely kind.

-These boys - woof this is a hard one. I’m proud of you & I’m thankful for you. This might just be my favorite year yet.
