We’d like to give a special thanks to @clairelitwinowicz -Violin, @sophilis_ - Viola & @reneeedson - Cello who performed on the title track. This beautiful string arrangement was also written by @clairelitwinowicz.

Also, we’d like to thank @christopherbrownbill at @undergroundaudiorecording for making us feel super comfortable during the recording.

Here are pictures and videos from the recording in July 2025.

It was a real privilege to be able to curate a night of solo guitar performances by some of my favourite local artists, from some of my favourite local projects. Kade, Leon, Helen and Casey, - thank you for playing. Thank you also to Boddhi for doing sound and to The Cave Inn for providing the space.

The single “Garden Wall” from our debut album “Last Hands Of Heaven Angels” is out now.

The track is a meditation on loss and the choice to grow despite that obstruction that it creates. “Garden Wall” seeks to make an offering of peace. To reclaim the harsh wall created by trauma and turn it into something beautiful.

Recorded with Chris Brownbill @undergroundaudiorecording
Master by @carlsaff
Artwork @omermosseri

Tickets to the single launch on Friday 04/09 are still available on our page.

Thanks so much to everyone involved and thanks eternally for coming to our shows and supporting us.

@valveposting played their last show for the year last night.

Earlier this year, I was already a fan of the band but didn’t know any of the members and received an email from them asking if I’d be interested in working with them on a recording they’d been working on for a long time. I immediately responded and set up a meeting at their jam space the same week.

They play a style of punk music that I think back on fondly, being performed in sweaty warehouses, house shows, shitty bars and art spaces in the early 2000s that I would go to every week, sometimes 2 or 3 shows in one day.

I’m always stoked to see folks play in this style, especially when they would have been babies when it was being played regularly in Brisbane and they’re able to do their thing, pulling it off live effortlessly every time.

Valve will be back in 2026 with more shows around Australia and of course new music. What an awesome year, my friends. Valve / Team Glasses forever.
