TGIF, everyone!

New headshots have inspired me to reflect and post an intro for those of you considering coming to counseling.

Clients know me as Sam. I’m a decade into practicing mental health psychotherapy in the state of Louisiana. It’s truly an honor and privilege to serve you.

I’m a firm believer of finding and growing the best parts of those willing to accept the hard truths of life and of the self. Your story will make sense to me. We shine a light on the hurt, pain, and brokenness that brings you to my office, and we will love and care for her in the ways she’s needed it the most.

No one wants to be alone, and motherhood can be isolating. Bringing a baby into this world can create a perfect storm of unresolved trauma clashing with the demands of reproductive physiology all while learning to grieve autonomy. There’s no greater motivation than a child needing you to become your best self. Feeling seen and heard during that raw journey can create magic, resilience, and healing.

The door is open.

Congratulations to the Chiefs of @elitetrainingacademybr flag football league!
❤️The parents, the kids, and the coaches, we had a beautiful season. The boys played their hearts out every week, and they really played for EACH OTHER. We witnessed soo much passion, hustle, and grit. Each and every one of the parents, we were all blessed to be amongst a group that enjoy the sacrifices we make for our kids. It was soo heartwarming to see all the smiles. ❤️

🖤To My husband. This has always been your calling. ALWAYS. Your connection , your passion, and your heart for this, was given to you by GOD, and when something is given to you by GOD. No one, or nothing, can discredit that. Stay aligned with your purpose. God makes no mistakes. 🤍 Isiah 54:17🙌🏾

Such a fun, magical and always entertaining day with Santa last Saturday! All galleries have been delivered 🥳🙌😮‍💨 Gearing up for day 2 next weekend. Adding some spots to grab a last minute session if you or someone you know may be interested!! Link in stories or message me. I always grab a shot of the kiddos first, before Santa comes out so your guaranteed one of them alone as well! 🎅🎄🎁 Also adding family only, no santa, first Saturday in December! #santa #santaminisessions #santaminis #mostwonderfultimeoftheyear #youbetternotcry #christmastree #christmasdecorations #christmasdecor #christmas2024 #batonrougephotographer #batonrougefamilyphotographer #batonrougekids

So grateful God sent this army of mommas to rescue me. Our bond is extremely rare and not taken for granted. My prayer for anyone reading this is that you find a Tribe as faithful, welcoming, supportive imperfectly perfect, and fierce as the women in this photo. 🙏🏻I love you, Ladies❤️. #TealLVR #BIBLE”College” #Dually #SpellingBeeChamp #QuackQuack #LostandFound #PickledEggsOnTheBar #FlavaFlavWhiteHouse #Spiker #dillardsANDkohls #HerSisterGaveMeThese #SkiPatrolPlease #FeatheredFriend
