An ode to GRiZMAS, Wilmington, and my very best friends🎅🌴:

Archives 📸, love from 🇨🇷, family, skydiving🪂 and the flag that connects us all 🏳️‍🌈

Nothing compares to this time of the year. When friends migrate from near and far to our little port city beach town 🌊We laugh, we dance, we cry. Everyone’s cup runs over with love and compassion. It’s all for one and one for all.

GriZ love from CR 🇨🇷: Two days ago, I discovered a hidden gem on Google Earth satellite images 🏝️💎A secluded beach tucked away on the rugged coastline with no one in sight. So here I am, sending love in the best way I know how: with a drone shot of the trusty towel and how far its traveled ✈️ 🗺️ 🩵

Bittersweet not being there this year - the last Grizmas for the foreseeable future and the first one I’ve missed since the dawn of its existence ❤️‍🩹

But, I’m here in Costa Rica. I wouldnt change that for the 🌎 We took a huge leap of faith. We uprooted our entire lives to grow new roots here 🌱 My soul family knows we are there in spirit, dancing in the wind with the Radiate Positivity flag 🌬️🌀

The flag, oh THE flag. It is special connecting force for our people. Born at Bonaroo 2017, my first festival ever. I was a young 18 year old Kat. It has survived countless fests since. From pvc pole to pool noodle, it has flown high and mighty ~ connecting our people with its magnetic force of love 🧲⚡️❤️ From being trampled on, rained on, to covered in dirt, paint, and glitter. It has brought us together in the toughest of times. A beacon of light for the lost souls in the crowd to find their way, bringing us all together 🔆 If you see it flying this weekend, go say hi 👋 i promise you wont regret it :)

I’ll never forget last year, coordinating two party bus loads of friends. We had so many people in town we couldn’t all fit in one, so: we picked up the first group from an airbnb, a wild ride ensued, and we safely delivered everyone to the venue downtown. I stayed in the bus by myself to double back to the beach to pick up the rest of our friends. The driver was awesome and shocked we were able to pull this off 🚎 🪩 😂 . . .

in meditation the other morning, i walked down the beach and came to three wooden doors in the side of the mountain. the middle door had a heart on it so obviously that was the one i had to go through. i went through a long tunnel of vines - the floor of the tunnel lined with bright colorful moroccan rugs. i kept walking and it opened up to the grand artique bazaar at okeechobee.

all of my homies were there waiting for me 😌 and yes of course there were chocolate pickles. griz was on stage doin a smooth jazz set with the late night horns and the odesza drum line. everyone was smiling so biggg dancing and laughing, fire flowing and hooping. my macrame plant hangers and hammocks were everywhere. friends were painting and creating beautiful art all around me. mr griz called me up to lead a yoga flow while they continued on vibing. once we finished, a long table made of driftwood appeared and we all shared a bountiful feast together with deep conversation and connection. i felt so supported and loved and whole.

my grandma was there too in this incredible crystal greenhouse that was filled to the brim with flowers… it was so good to hug her and to talk with her again.

i think i will visit this sacred place in my mind forevermore 🩵

so let’s flashback 6 years ago to year one Okeechobee where this girl first learned about manifesting at one of those talks you can go sit and listen to. I had no clue what to expect but from that day on my life has never been the same. I truly believe that the universe brings you the life you ask for. Yes it might not be perfect but it can be damn near close sometimes. You never know what will happen or who you’ll meet or really anything to come but when you allow the universe to unfold as it should it may surprise you in the little ways you never knew possible. I have to thank the people in these photos for bringing so much joy and love into my life..I can’t imagine life without y’all in it so thank you all for being you and let’s just say damnn what a fuckin weekend🫶🏼🌀✨💗🫧we love you Okee🙌🏼

That’s a wrap Okee (and Florida, you’ve been good to me these past couple weeks) These pictures barely scratch the surface of the soul nurturing, growth fostering, life changing experience shared with my best friends.

Never fails to amaze me how much love, acceptance, and support beams from within your beautiful souls 💫 I love doing life with each and every one of you now and forever more. It’s electric, contagious, and downright silly.
