BLUR is a club in the heart of Brussels, and what matters to us is being a true Brussels club, made by and for the people of this city. 🦐

So when Pim, the founder of @crevetterecords, reached out and asked us to host the night chapter of the 10th anniversary of this legendary Brussels record store, saying yes was an absolute no-brainier. 🎂

We have enormous respect for the work Pim and @crevetterecords have done over the past decade, and for what they represent for music in Brussels, shaping tastes, sharing knowledge and feeding the curiosity of generations of locals and everyone passing through the city. 💙

What made it even more special was the idea of building a line-up almost entirely around local artists, plus @_luisasm… although, at this point, isn’t she basically a local too? 😌

We’re incredibly happy to bring you a night made entirely of B2Bs between artists we love and deeply respect. We have a feeling this big musical melting pot might leave a legendary mark on BLUR’s story, and hopefully on Crevette’s too.

Happy 10th birthday to Crevette Records. 🫶

Our values:
At Blur, everyone belongs.
No discrimination, no harassment, this is a space built on respect and trust.
All identities, genders, sexualities and bodies are welcome here.
Consent is everything.
Look out for each other, move with care, share the night safely.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: 10 YEARS OF DEALING RECORDS!

Happy to celebrate a full decade of dealing and flipping wax! To celebrate 10 years of Crevette Records, we’re bringing you a special anniversary series of events: a concert night at Ancienne Belgique, a daytime gathering at Brasserie Illegaal and an after party at BLUR.

We’re incredibly grateful to have been able to do this for 10 years already. What started with a passion for records has grown into a beautiful community, countless friendships and so many unforgettable moments along the way !

This is a very special milestone for us, a full decade of doing what we love, sharing music and bringing people together through our mutual love for wax. We couldn’t be happier to celebrate this journey with everyone who has been part of it.

10 years down, and we’re just getting started!

For us, dancing has always been about more than movement. It’s about losing track of time, finding one another, and briefly stepping outside the rhythms of everyday life.

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘱 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯.
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳.

This year’s dancefloor brings together artists who each approach these feelings differently.

𝗡𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗽 effortlessly dissolves genre boundaries, creating unexpected moments that somehow make perfect sense. 𝗠𝗮𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗻 thrives on unpredictability, weaving together rave energy and adventurous electronic sounds that keep dancers guessing. 𝗞𝗮𝗳𝗶𝗺 will bring his first ever club live set, promissing! Meanwhile, 𝗠𝗮𝘅𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗼 moves between breaks, garage and bass-heavy club music, building sets that evolve from groove into pure intensity, and 𝘀𝗲𝗷𝗮 explores the space between gritty and groovy, blending quirky underground sounds with futuristic nostalgia. And to start the day and warm your dancing feet Mekitburn invites 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗶, this bunch of musically connected transforms collective musicianship into an ecstatic journey through groove, jazz and global rhythms.

On Sunday we leave the club and take thing outside, and together with the sun 𝗥𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶 and 𝗗𝗝 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝘄𝗶𝗶𝗿𝗮 will brighten up our courtyard during the afternoon.

Different sounds, different approaches, one shared invitation.

So here we are
Another edition of the tomtomklub is coming to a close.
it’s been a beautiful event, overflowing with love, poetry, and kindness.
Without wanting to sound cheesy, we have to admit that in Switzerland, we’re not immune to good cheese. So let’s share it generously with all of you just a little bit more.
we want to share with you our big gratitude for being here at this celebration.
It’s not always easy to feel able to let go with confidence in nightlife and party settings. And yet that’s where so much can transform, both individually and collectively, if we feel safe.
No longer seeing ourselves as isolated individuals, but as part of something greater than our physical selves. Taking on a collective responsibility to transform our wounds into love — through dance, through listening, through smiles—because this crazy but wonderful world needs it more than ever.

We know why we keep creating spaces like this, and we hope that despite the fatigue and sore feet when you wake up, you also felt fulfilled and ready to return to your daily lives with energy that inspires both you and those around you.

Nose Job presents Thu 28.05 at LaVallée

V/A ‘Dertien’ release party

SAEKO KILLY —live—
Tokyo-born, Berlin-based, Saeko Killy invites us into her hypnotic musical world, forming the foundation for her otherworldly vocals. Capturing the different sides of her persona, blissful downtempo dreamscapes next to upbeat excursions for the psychedelic dancefloor. She released two albums on Bureau B and contributed to compilations on R.I.O, Subject To Restrictions Discs and Emotional Especial. Saeko navigates in between sounds using signposts from her dreams, guided through the space-time distortion loops as if by a vision.

AXEL LARSEN —live—
Axel Larsen is member of the French freebase label Simple Music Experience and in bands like Radiante Pourpre, Simplists and Parasite Jazz. Solo he released two EPs on Macadam Mambo, ‘Les Elements du Crime’ still 10 » of dynamite and an absolute favorite. Metallic post-punk/post-industrial club slugs made with homemade, cheap and discarded technologies, equipment, tape recorders and effect units, are mixed, treated and dubbed live on multitrack tapes. A razor sharp and radical, chilling and distinct assault.

Brusseleir who channels his energy into the freakier fringes of contemporary club music. Kiosk radio mainstay, former resident of the C12 club he made a hard turn left to end up in guitar drenched gutteral post punk, dub, slomo psy-trance and rolling big beat. Make no mistake this guy knows how to work a dancefloor, come look for your basses besognes, and is gonna make your teeth curl and the ceiling sweat!
