My youngest daughter said mommy the last musical you seen, was her in the musical performance of Hair. Do you like musicals? I could take it or leave it. . My daughter studied theatre and majored in it in college. She acts, sings has a degree in theatrical performance so her expectations are high. The first musical I ever loved was the Sound of Music then the Lion King and the Color Purple nothing comes close to those top three. . We both said, what do we really want to see?Because I didn’t want to be bored out of my mind. Aladdin sounds good! . Next day, orchestra seats and a packed theatre. The magic carpet ride was so beautiful. The genie was energetic. The show did not disappoint. I give it a 8 out of 10 only because I couldn’t really hear Jasmin singing over the orchestra. And my top three still remain the same. . Have you seen Aladdin? I hear Sherri Shepherd will be the genie starting October 16th.
