MEET THE MAKER @kailacoconut 🪸🪼🌊

Kaila Pearson was born and raised in Santa Cruz. She grew up surfing and playing in the ocean. Kaila is obsessed with all things ocean! She studied the deep sea in graduate school at Scripps Institution of Oceanography and is currently an ocean lifeguard and a biology professor at Cabrillo College and UCSC. She lives by the Santa Cruz Harbor with her husband their dog, Tuna. She loves making seaweed sun prints (“cyanotypes”) using locally sourced seaweeds.

It’s our 3rd day open you guys and we cannot believe the turnout so far OMG💖🎉❤️‍🔥 Our soft opening was nonstop and yesterday was absolutely amazing filled with so many locals coming in who couldn’t wait to see us open up our doors. We cannot believe the Felton community, it’s small but mighty and incredibly supportive. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the goodies @_willow_works_ has to offer. Stop by between 11-5 today ~ Ashley from @sunday.outpost will be there to help you!

Does not seem real but we are opening in less than a day🎊 Our soft opening is Thursday May 14 from 11-5 . . . come on by to check out the new space !! We seriously cannot wait to show it to the public, to our amazing longtime customers, to the Felton community and to all the new customers we haven’t even met yet !!
