Since I haven’t made any kind of a social media post in four years, I think getting married to my best friend is good enough of a reason to do so. From the day I met Kailey I knew there was something special about her, but I never could figure it out. I think that mysterious quality is what always kept me. Growing up together and learning who we each are as a team has been the most rewarding experience I’ve had in my life. Ups and downs, of course, but no matter what she never fails to make me smile. To be able to finally call her my wife, and to call myself her husband, is truly about as good as life gets. Over the years we have done and seen so much, but our honeymoon across the country takes the cake (check out her profile if you want to fill the four year gap lol). I can’t wait to keep making memories, good ones and bad ones, because any that involve her and I together are memories to hold on to. I love you, Kailey. Always will :)

She told me to wait to post this so her post got more attention, which is somewhat ridiculous, but I still love her anyway. It’s weird to think about how long we have been together. Sometimes it shocks me. However, I’m excited by the idea of spending so much more time with her. These pictures captured some good memories, the last one being the only photo from our first date, but all I can think about is the photos that will capture our future memories. I love you Kailey, always have, and it’s wild to think we are both adults now, considering we were both so young when we started this trip together. Happy 18th birthday cutie :)

From Columbus ➡️ Chicago ➡️ Philadelphia ➡️ Atlanta back to ➡️ Philadelphia, Grace Students mission trips have been the best part of my summers through middle school and high school! Love these people! (Sorry I wasn’t able to tag everyone) #throwback #senioryear @atgracestudents

2017 was, I think, the first year of my life I truly lived each moment. So many good things that I fully appreciated, and terrible things that I’ve learned and grown from. Regardless, the year was filled with memories, and I’m happy to have finally found myself. To family, old friends, new friends, and friends I haven’t met yet: let’s do it better in 2018. Cheers.

I would buy her a hammock of her own, but then I wouldn't have an excuse to share it with her :)

Kailey tried to make it look pretty, but this is definitely what the trip was like. I love her though :)
