Wowee kahzowee- one year of @medalistskin 🫶🏻 July 1st, 2024 truly changed my life forever. When we launched a year ago, I knew it would be hard. But I didn’t know how hard, or how beautiful, it would truly be. There have been mornings I’ve woken up electrified with purpose, knowing we’re building something that matters for the next generation of athletes. And there have been nights I’ve sat on the floor, exhausted, crying, spiraling and wondering how I will keep this going, how to stretch every dollar, and how to keep believing. There’s a particular loneliness in being a founder that no one prepares you for, holding the vision and belief of your brand and yourself so fiercely that it keeps you up at night. But there’s also a joy that is hard to describe: The first time an athlete told me Medalist made them feel seen and that our products are truly the only ones that work on sweat induced acne The first time a college team stocked us in their locker room (shoutout @columbia women’s basketball 🫶🏻) The first pop up we did with @solidcore The first retail shelf space in @popup.grocer The first award nomination for best beauty brand launch of the year by @beautyindependent The first press hit we received from @womenshealthmag The first customer email (a “sporty girl dad” he called himself) on how much the brand means to his teenage daughters. We launched @medalistskin because athletes deserve skincare that understands them—products that stand up to sweat, sun, travel, and training, and don’t compromise on performance or care. One year later, we’re still small but mighty, and we’re still here- still fighting for this mission, still growing, still learning. To every single athlete, customer, friend, editor, mentor, investor, and team member who has believed in Medalist in year one: thank you. You have no idea how much your encouragement has meant on the days I needed it most. Here’s to the messy middle, the small wins, the big dreams, and the next chapter for Medalist Skin. Because we’re just getting started. 🥇 One year down. Glow Beyond Gold.

Your skin’s MVP made the Final Four 🥇 ✨Two years ago, @medalistskin was just an idea and some early formulations. ✨One year ago, we were three months away from launching. ✨And today… we’re the sole beauty + skincare sponsor of the NCAA Women’s Final Four in Tampa. Seeing our ad in the official tournament program — right next to the best athletes in the country — is surreal. Medalist was built for this moment. For athletes, for competitors, for anyone who moves through life with purpose. We’re just getting started. #MedalistSkin #YourSkinsMVP #FinalFour #WomensBasketball #MarchMadness #FounderLife #SkincareForAthletes #femalefounder #femaleathlete
