Really, really loving what I do nowadays. It took some time, but I *feel* like a musician now. SMS is off to the studio - we’ll be back in a few months. Get ready for this new album yall.

Just a few short clips I grabbed from the @simplemindedsymphony set at @funhouseseattle this weekend. They’ve always sounded amazing but somehow got even better. #seattleska #skanowmorethanever #onlyskacansaveus #simplemindedsymphony #funhouseseattle

tour!!! was absolutely incredible and i can't wait to do it again.

it's difficult to boil down 16 shows in 17 days, plus a 23 hour van ride home from vegas to seattle, but suffice it to say i had the time of my life. i'm always saying this, and will continue to say it: i love my bandmates so much. i can't imagine having gone on this journey with anyone else. everyone truly had each other's backs, and sharing a stage with such amazing musicians every night is something i'll never get tired of. they make me a better player, and more importantly, a better person. wouldn't be here without ya'll!

i also want to thank not just mine, but all of our collective friends and families for keeping us going while we were out on the road. it was definitely exhausting at times, but having that support means the world to us.

this whole dang thing was a dream come true. much love to all of the venues that hosted us, the bands we played with, and all you wonderful people for coming to see us. but most of all, to @monkeyskaband who did this whole thing with us, gave us so much advice along the way, helped us out of more than a few jams, and overall were just super cool dudes. looking forward to the next run together!

lots more exciting stuff coming soon, both for the band and outside of that! can't wait to share more. looking forward to the future~

Tour dump ✨
This was truly unlike any experience I’ve ever had! 16 shows in a row (one night off), lots of driving, LOTS of time together. I am so happy we did it though. I feel so lucky to have found a musical group where I actually feel seen/heard and valued. I am in the after tour dumps and probably will be for a while, but I love these people with my whole heart and my belly is full of laughs. Thank you @monkeyskaband for being such a good hang. Feeling very grateful that I got to do this, and playing music sure is dope!!
