✨Another weekend of playing in BC in the books.✨

Lessons I learned from this trip:
🗻 I can do hard things. I wanted to tackle the Chief again in Squamish, and this time go to the second peak. That summit is 2149 ft roughly (according to my Google search) and it was very challenging. At one point, my quads were overly fatigued, spasming, and preventing me from bending my knees. Scared shitless? Yep. But I massaged them out and made it. The descent was equally hard but I made it 😆
🗻 Nature heals your soul. I mean: this I knew. But I think I forgot. The seasons I’ve been experiencing that never seem to have an end date have really dampened my sparkle. If I’m honest, the infertility journey and the job market has been an exhausting roller coaster. But my realizing I can in fact do hard things means I am resilient. But it’s also okay to have shit days. It’s a matter of finding the glimmers where you can.
🗻 I can handle challenging travel experiences 😆 When I booked my flights from London, my connections were under an hour. I ran (picture Home Alone style) like crazy on Thursday to go from my late-leaving London flight to my connecting flight. Unfortunately, my plane left late from BC yesterday… thus created an extra day of travel for me. While I was feeling frustrated, I now know what to do should this happen again. Shout out to the amazing AC staff for being helpful!

Thanks for having me @michanne6!! And it was so great to also see @kaitclimbs_ @jrhudson79 @maryehudson too!!!

West Coast Trail - 75kms, 5 days and an unforgettable adventure!

I’m incredibly proud of our group for crushing all those miles, all while having time to check out the most beautiful spots and swim under waterfalls.

Truly experienced all the WCT had to offer, from rain and mud to misty mornings on the beaches and gorgeous coastal views. We climbed countless ladders and pulled ourselves in long cable cars across the rivers.

Only thing we missed were the bears 🐻 and whales 🐋 so I guess I’ll have to make a trip back!

An extremely late 2024 recap but it was such a fantastic year I still want to share some of my experiences.

I finished my degree👨‍🎓, hit a new PR in my half marathon time🏃‍♂️, traveled a lot more this year 🚈✈️, climbed in new places🗻, and held competitions and climbing events with old and new friends.

There was so much going on last year and I wouldn’t have experienced it the same way without everyone who’s stuck around. I’m so grateful that I get to share my passion here and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2025. I also just want to shout out all the brands that I’ve had the chance to work with, I really appreciate these opportunities and I’m so excited to get more involved this year.

Thanks 2024:)
