✨✨ Disneyland Photo Dump — FINALE! ✨✨
1,200 photos in just 3.5 days — because when the magic is real, you document everything. 📸✨

There is truly no one I’d rather run around a Disney park with than my patient, supportive, hilarious, and loving husband, Shawn. 💖 This was Shawn’s very first time on the West Coast and our first Disneyland adventure — so many new memories, new rides, and our very first churros! (How did we ever survive without them?!) 😂

We learned we still prefer the Walt Disney World “bubble,” but hey — Disney is Disney, and we are 1000% unapologetic Disney gays! 🏳️‍🌈🐭✨

Massive thank you to Kaitlyn — our Disney fairy godmother — for keeping this high-maintenance prince organized, fed, and smiling. 🧚‍♀️ And the biggest shoutout to Branwyn, the world’s best cat auntie, for giving Aurora & Prince the royal treatment at home while their dads chased Mickey-shaped snacks. 🐱🐱💙

Also, to Trish & Tommy: thank you for getting us to and from the airport — the true MVPs of modern travel. 🚗✈️

Our hearts (and our phones) are full. Until next time, Disneyland — see ya real soon! ✨💫

So I’m back on here this week… and then I’m off again—because we’re officially 7 days away from our very first Disneyland trip, and we’re doing Pride Nite! 🎉. Because if we’re going to celebrate Pride, we’re doing it with fireworks, churros, and Mickey-shaped everything. ✨🌈

We seriously need this getaway, and we’re so grateful to our incredible friend and Disney expert @kaitdelen. She’s the real deal—thoughtful, organized, and absolutely magical. If you’re planning a trip, you want her in your corner.

Now here’s where I need you: Shawn and I are getting Pride-themed manicures with Mickey ears (because why not add a little sparkle before liftoff?) and we’re looking for a talented nail artist in the West Deptford/Woodbury/Deptford NJ area for this Sunday.

Got a rec? Drop it below or DM me! Thanks in advance—we’re ready to get this magic started. 💅🏽🎢

🎉 7 YEARS MARRIED! 🌈❤️

Today I’m celebrating 7 years of marriage to my incredible husband, Shawn — and I love that it falls during Pride Month. There was a time I never thought I’d find love, let alone be allowed to marry the person who gives my life so much joy.

Years ago, I marched for marriage equality with Broadway Impact, thanks in part to Gavin Creel — not knowing I’d one day walk down the aisle myself.

Planning a wedding as two grooms in 2018? Hilarious chaos. (What even is a bridal party when there’s no bride?) But we made it our own — full of laughter, music, and people who lifted us up (and yes, a few who just came for the free drinks 🍸).

Our friends Jodi & Rhonda sang “For Good” from Wicked as our wedding party entered (this is my attempt at a solo version - pitchy and all)— and that song still makes me cry. There are things we wish we’d done differently (video! more pics!), but it was perfectly imperfect. Just like us.

To everyone who showed up for our love: thank you — especially Craig, Kat, Branwyn, Diane, Sean, Jamie, CJ, Trish, Tommy, Katie, Barb, Natalie, Taryn, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Brandon, Jodi, Rhonda, Kathy, Mario, and Fernando — and to Mama Mooney, Dad, and Mama Donna, who are forever with us. 💕

Shawn — thank you for being my rock, my safe place, my rom-com co-star, and my fellow Disney adult. I can’t wait for more adventures, more laughter, and more love.

Happy 7th Anniversary, my love. And Happy Pride to all. 🌈💍

60 days until we make our grand debut at Disneyland — and we’re doing it loud, proud, and fully decked out in cargo shorts, bright colors, Pride buttons, and Disney-themed shirts and hats! All to celebrate Pride Night and 6 magical, chaotic, love-filled years of marriage.

We’ve got our Pride Night tickets, a Jazz Kitchen reservation (because nothing says romance like beignets and bold seasoning), and enough excitement to power Rise of the Resistance.

Now, those who know me know that where there’s pixie dust, there’s also a healthy sprinkle of anxiety — because I love a plan, and Disneyland is not WDW. Luckily, our fairy godfriend @kaitdelen has us covered. She puts up with my lovingly OCD itinerary energy and handled all our reservations — dining, Lightning Lanes, the works — with her usual sparkle and grace.

Here’s to love, snacks, and memories as sweet (and extra) as we are — with just enough sass to keep it interesting.

Day 30: The Final Countdown (cue dramatic music)

Thirty days of showing the world what two husbands do when they’re not summoning demons (aka paying bills), plotting world domination (aka deciding what’s for dinner), or casting spells (aka getting through the workweek). And what have we learned? That we’re just like any other couple—except possibly more fabulous and definitely more indecisive when picking a TV show.

We’ve been together since 2014, married since 2018, and have successfully survived:
✔️ Countless Wawa runs
✔️ The existential crisis of “do we REALLY need dessert?” (Spoiler: Yes.)
✔️ Shawn’s dad jokes (send help)
✔️ The tragedy of running out of Turkey Hill Diet Orange Decaf Iced Tea
✔️ And the daily reminder that bigots exist (yawn, get a new hobby)

But here’s the thing: we’re not going anywhere. We will keep being visible, being loud, and being annoyingly cute. To our allies and chosen family—Craig, Kat, Jodi, Kaitlyn, Kim, Rhonda, and Branwyn—thank you for always fighting alongside us. To the haters: sorry, not sorry. Love is love, and we’re living proof.

Now, if you’ll excuse us, we have an important decision to make: what’s for dinner?

This Christmas, I’m reflecting on the many things I’m grateful for, despite the challenges of the past few months.

Shawn and I celebrated milestones with a dreamy weekend in Punta Cana and an amazing cruise to the ABC islands. I had the joy of working on two productions of The Prom and my most recent production, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, surrounded by incredible friends. An unexpected Perry Award nomination for Sheldon in The Prom was a sweet surprise, and perhaps the best highlight of all: Shawn leaving a toxic work environment and stepping into a new role where he feels valued and less stressed.

We’ve had our home, our health (despite a COVID hiccup), our family (blood and chosen), our sweet cats, and my inner circle of friends who bring love and support when I need it most. Above all, I’m endlessly grateful for Shawn, my loving husband, who makes this life beautiful—even when things don’t go as planned.

I’m also realizing I need new photos with some of my chosen family (Kaitlyn, Rhonda, Branwyn, Jodi—I’m looking at you!).

Merry Christmas to all! I hope you find your gratitude today, even in life’s challenges. Sending love and peace!

I’ll be honest, the first time that I ever experienced Pippin was years ago & I wasn’t the biggest fan. However, this experience completely changed my view on the show for the better. @burlingtoncountyfootlighters has become a second home to me over the past year & change. Even while experiencing the most challenging times of my life, I know I have performing to show me there’s sunshine to spread at the end of the tunnel. Getting to perform with past & new dear friends always makes me feel fulfilled. Yeah, that’s right. It’s something completely fulfilling. I’m so incredibly proud of the cast, crew, pit, production staff & everybody else involved. Thank you for making this something truly extraordinary. I love you all.♥️✨

Leaving this post with two quotes:

“When in doubt, ta-da it out! If that doesn’t work, throw a little glitter on it!” - Miss Brenda

“PIPPIN ROCKKSSSS!🤘🏼” - Al Krier
