Calling all Poetry People! ☎️

Have you read any work by @kaitlnfleming yet? Local to us here in Dalton, Kate writes beautiful poetry that brings us back to what’s important - people, nature, and spirit

I needed a little pick-me-up today, so I opened up Wildflower Nation and randomly read a poem. It was exactly what I needed, and now I’m sharing it with you!❤️

Stop in to find all 3 of her books at 9th House!

I loved @no.27cafe the moment I saw the mural on their building — and again when Eloise allowed us to hold poetry open mics there. The only word for it was magic. It filled the air as people of all ages spoke about love, pain, grief, joy, peace, resilience, and truth. All in one room together — feeling a chill, shedding a tear, and believing in the spirit of humanity again.

Thank you for that, and thank you for now selling my books! This place is filled with flowers, libations, and lovely people. Enter, and I promise you will enjoy. ⭐️🌸

“Words paused, but never forgotten. Today, I return to them.”
The ink ran quiet for a time. Months slipped by as I listened, waited, and gathered what remained unspoken. Even silence carries poetry if you know where to look. Now, the words are ready to rise again.

Beneath the dust, a pen will wait,
Through quiet hours, it learns its weight.
The page still blank, the heart now full,
I write again; my soul pulls.

It’s time to write, to connect, to share stories that lingered in the dark. Thank you for waiting, for reading, and for being part of this journey. New words are coming.
