Turns out people in our little town don’t just get up early for dirt and singletrack.

About 15 folks rolled out to Coal Beach for our first Coffee Outside, armed with brew kits and good chats. We even baked cookies the night before too.

It was exactly what we hoped it’d be - a chance to slow down, meet some new people, and start the day outdoors.

Thanks so much to everyone who came along. We’re already looking forward to next Friday.

The last few weeks I've been cooking up a little something outside of the kitchen! It might be a little crooked and the finish is far from perfect but that's what you get when you have the sandwich guy make furniture. As I tend to do with a project like this, I highly underestimated the amount of time it would take to build but I'm really looking forward to bringing it in (and getting it out of my shop!).

Avelyn and I have always wanted Laneway to feel like a communal space. A space where everyone feels welcome, and a place where people can visit with old friends and even make some news ones. We hope with this new table takes us one more step in that direction!

Also Avelyn's back to the valley tomorrow and Winston and I have really missed her.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST part 1

Introducing Mr. And Mrs Musseau

On Sept 21/2024 I married the love of my life. Although it was originally set for July, I was dumb enough to go and break my neck so we had to postpone it. It was an amazing day with our closest friends and family and a celebration we will never forget.
