Our Pro Team + Dev Squad are about to throw down @beachhouseut tournament & the coed tournament at @sandbarslc 🙌🏼 These athletes have been putting in the work and now it’s time to show it off in the sand.

Drop a 👊 or 🙌 in the comments to wish them luck—let’s send the crew into the weekend with all the energy.

And if you’re watching and thinking “I want to compete like that”… our Dev Program is where it starts.

Good luck, squad—go rep the Box. 💪🏐

Aloha! I’m Kala’e, lead designer + owner of The Haku Hale! I was born and raised in Santa Cruz, California and now live in Dallas-Fort Worth with my husband and our baby girl. I love the beach, skateboarding, cooking, and anything creative!

Hawaiian culture has been deeply rooted in my family for a long time. I grew up dancing hula at my local halau where I was taught Hawaiian, Tahitian, and Māori dance. My Kumu hula ingrained a deep affection, reverence, and respect within me for Hawaiian culture and traditions. It was at my halau that I also learned Hawaiian history, some Hawaiian language, and of course, lei making!

Once I learned the art of lei making I couldn’t stop! I would make hakus and other floral adornments for my friends and I for graduations, school dances, and birthdays. I even made my niece the cutest little lei po’o when she was the flower girl in our wedding! I find so much joy in being able to adorn people with beautiful flowers and make them feel so special for big celebrations! I would love to do the same for you! Click the link in my bio for all offerings and inquiries!
